Take out service was wonderful, everything was there that we ordered. And the food was ample and excellent ?
Always greeted with smiles, great service and good food. I don’t eat meat so I always get the veggie fajitas they are delicious. Margaritas are strong and huge.
Very good all around experience. Our food was delicious and brought to us steaming hot. Server was very courteous and attentive. The only thing is, get there early. We popped in about 11:45 in the morning. And the place was hopping. I will definitely be dining here again.
We were there on Saturday March 5th. We visit around 3 to 4 times a month. Everything was normal until the waiter came up to our table of 7 literally 10 minutes after we had finished eating and told us we had to leave because other people were waiting to be seated. NO JOKE……. We had just spent $80 on food and a $25 tip… Could not believe it. 3 other tables were open 1 party of 6 waiting….. I was paying attention….. This waiter just wanted his table open ….. We will NEVER return nor will the other family we were with. We will tell everyone…. In disbelief……
i hate to rate this place a one star as it WAS my go to Mexican place in Kokomo. last night my group and i experienced something none of us had EVER experienced at any restaurant. our waiter has asked us to leave because there “were tables waiting to be sat”. we’re all blown away at this point, and the guy was rude from the start anyways. we get up, embarrassed, because there’s other tables that were there BEFORE us still sitting and enjoying their meals. we walk to the front and there’s MULTIPLE dirty, empty tables and maybe 2-3 party’s waiting to be sat. we had 7 people so the bill was not cheap and we did not tip bad. this man wanted someone else in his section so he could get more money. period. it’s so unfortunate and no one should ever have to experience this just sitting down with their party and talking after we ate. utterly disappointed, no one would even do anything about it either. so unfortunate.
I got the Pollo bandito and it was amazing just such good flavor and I like cheese.
My food was amazing! My boyfriends food was nasty and when we said something about it the manager got very nasty and rude about it! Wont be going back with all the other Mexican restaurants around!
Every time I have ever tried to place a to go order they don’t answer!!! And if u call back to back they will take the phone off the hook!!! Then you drive to don ponchos and walk in to order in person and they are all doing nothing and capable of answering!!!! Annoying!!!! And rude!!!!
Have had better experiences here than this last one but give it a pass this time as I'm sure they have the same staffing issues as everyone else now.
We did not stay. The entrance is very unorganized. Absolutely no way to social distance. There were at least eight people waiting to pay. We waited almost 10 minutes and were never greeted or seated. Total and utter chaos. I won't be back.
