I came into Dairy Queen tonight as I have several times this week and noticed a young lady with braids working very hard. Making ice cream with a smile on her face. She obviously had 4 or 5 more orders it seemed after mine. What was alarming and sad to me is a manager Becca (I asked her name before I left) stood by on her phone! It appeared she was scrolling and enjoying what she was watching for the 10 minutes I was there. Finally the young lady working hard sweetly asked for a little help as (Becca) looked up with a disgusted look and totally ignored her! It’s very sad how young employees are treated here. It wasn’t as bad the several times I was here over the past week or so as it was tonight so I had to write a review! Be a roleModel managers! Help these kids out! Show good customer service. More importantly GET OFF YOUR PHONES! We will still patron this store as I’ll keep an eye on these young employees. GOOD JOB (I’ll find out her name soon) YOUNG LADY! Keep smiling and keep serving! You’ll go FAR in life! Definitely further than where you are now!
Really like the location; reminds me of like a college campus type of place. No drive through; while odd for a DQ, I honestly don't mind that at all.Dined in and take our here several times.Everything seems nice, new and fairly clean. The staff are always friendly and attentive. The food and ice cream is always good.My girls love coming here and we will be back time and time again
I placed an online order. I got there about 851. They close at 9. They were PACKED! I kind of squeezed in to the side and then after a few mins of waiting had to use the restroom. I heard the people making ice cream talking and one said "SKIP THE DAM MOBILE ORDER!" I tapped the cashier on the shoulder and told her if they call the mobile order, I'm in the bathroom. She shrugged and said "idc I'm off in two minutes ". When I came out of the bathroom, there were still 3 people in line wanting to order . The cashier literally clocked out and left. So another person who I think.was manager jumped up front. Finally after about 10 mins in all I got my order and left.
The Royal Strawberry Cheesecake blizzard was phenomenal! The service was quick, friendly and hospitable. Your food will be hot and your ice cream cold. I think dessert for my wife and I was under $10, so prices are quite affordable.
Pulled up behind somebody in the drive-thru. We pull up and are told we just closed. That is very bad business. Even if you had to just give us what we needed that would have been better than just saying we're closed!
The store was clean, staff was excellent, and the ice cream cake we bought was awesome!
I was in the neighborhood and stopped in for some ice cream. Zoom in on my menu pics and see what you want before you get there so you aren't rushed into a decision. Newly remodeled family atmosphere. Ice cream cakes for special events ready to go. Also dilly bar packs ready to go home in your freezer. Many burger and fry options.
Did not care to much for the one on sycamore their manager had he baby in there just a screaming while she was working. Felt it was very unsafe for the child. I guess she brings her baby there everyday while she works he is there. Very unsafe for the baby. The food they didn't give us everything we ordered.
The date is March 1st. The time was 5:00 p.mI ordered my food and sat in the booth facing the counter. The guy who took my order was dark haired, about 19 and was buff looking. His family members came in and ordered after me. I think it was his mom and his big buff brother. They were making fun of people on their phones through random texts including me. The guy at the counter working the register and bagging food would text his brother who stood in front of me. They pointed out people and started laughing under their breath at them. This went on until the guy at the register noticed me acknowledging him. I finally, after 15 minutes left. I saw the mom and the brother who left right before me looking at me when I got in my car. She drove a red messy lookin vehicle. He handed me my bag before I left and knew he was possibly get a complaint. So this is my complaint. Thanks.
I'd give 5 stars but there is a woman cashier that is seriously one of the most unfriendly people I have ever met. She doesn't welcome you, or even talk to you unless it's absolutely necessary. She just stares at you until you order. She also been the one that has given us our food a few times and every time she just shoves it at you and walks away. Not very professional in my opinion. I'm not looking to be best friends and have a 3 hour gab fest but a few kind words goes a long way.
