The first time my family visited was for my birthday in October, 2021. We are a family of five and with three young kids we try to find fun places for the kids to be entertained while waiting for food. We all very much enjoyed the first visit and my mom ended up buying a couple of the table top games for the kids that they played while at the restaurant. This current visit was completely opposite. We had family visiting and thought they would also enjoy the food, drinks, and environment, especially with the kids. We arrived at 11:30am and it was very sparse, so we were excited to enjoy some of the games that were taken when we were there the first time. The group started to sit at an empty location outside while I went to the hostess to see if we could sit there and be served. While I walked away, our party was shocked by being shewed away with attitude from an employee. As I approached and asked to be served for our party of 9 the hostess rolled her eyes at our party size and told us that seeting outside was for reservations only. There were no reservations for the spots currently but she told us the spots needed to be open for when reservations came in. We were all surprised by the attitude we received and that there was not much attempt to find us seating, even though more than half the seating was open. The great-grandparents were quite shocked at how everything happened and were quick from this point to turn around and leave. Only then did the hostesses want to accommodate but no part of our group wanted to remain there. We chose to go to Parlour Pizza around the corner. It was busier than Union but immediately had a table open that could accommodate us and we had a delicious experience with our food and drink.I hope to go to Union again sometime, since the whole experience was enjoyable the first time but I'm not sure now. Make sure to call and make reservations beforehand...

So much to do there, love the food!! I highly recommend the chicken sandwich and their grilled cheese! Plenty of games to play outside etc. and the staff is amazing!! My sister actually works there she loves it there also! My whole family does we go quite often! ?

Had a wonderful dinner, great atmosphere and vibe and the good was delicious. The only picture I grabbed was of the cheeseburger egg rolls, they were different but yummy. I had the Gameyard burger with the duck fries and it was delicious. I also had the Watermelon pouch and the blue heaven and both drinks were good. My friend and also shared the desert of the month... A fried strawberry shortcake... It was big enough for many more people but we couldn't stop eating it... It was so very good. I will definitely be back. I didn't catch our serves name unfortunately, because she was terrific!

Cool place but unfortunately the owner or manager is not very accommodating for its patroons. Also understaffed, turning away lunch crowds "20 min wait" while 1/2 the tables are empty on a weekday lunch. Serve brought checks without asking so maybe it's just me. ?

Had a great experience Saturday. The service was incredible. Food was delicious. Games were so much fun. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

I have never in my life been angry enough to leave a review. Went to this spot because of a good friends birthday. She had reserved a cabana and told them she would have a larger party but max seating was 8 and the rest of the party could hang out in the gaming section and casually drink. They told us that was fine. When we showed up to the venue, the staff was immediately rude, stating they could not accommodate our large party because the kitchen staff was “too new” and we would overwhelm them. We told them we did not even want to eat and at most would have appetizers and order drinks at the bar ourselves as to not require a server, as they only had two working. They declined that option and stated we should just “take our business elsewhere”. We apologized profusely for even bothering them and tried to work with staff so that we could at least play games and drink without taking up tables or requiring wait staff. The bartender ironically was excited to have the business but the crusty “chef” and the rude hostess (who we later discovered was just a child) were not of the same attitude. We were happy to take our business up the road to Parlour who also has outdoor seating and amazing service provided by only a single waitress. Being a service industry worker since the age of 14, I am absolutely appalled by the treatment we received. It seemed that they simply did not want to honor the reservation made way in advance and made their staffing issues our fault. Extremely disappointed.

Food was fabulous! The pretzel that we started off with was extremely hard and difficult to eat. The chicken sandwich that I ordered was amazing and the tots were crisp. The staff was great and friendly. Loved the games and activities to do outside. It was great! The seating inside is awful. I get that it goes with the feel and vibe but I wish I had some back support on the chairs. The table was also very small for 8 of us to sit at. Overall a great time with the group I had.

This is the first place I take people when they visit from out of town. The atmosphere is fun, the food is exceptional and service is spectacular. It's one of the most comfortable dining experiences I've ever had and I look for any excuse I can get to go back.I've had every one of the salads on the menu and they're all terrific. The giant pretzel is amazing and a really fun item to share.I've had lots of different servers here, and every single one of them is a rock star. Attentive but not too much so - keeps my drink full and brings the food right on time. It's a great lunch spot, too; I work in the area and try to frequent it, especially when the weather warms up.

I attended a campaign rally here this evening and decided to order a meal to take home after the event. I am blown away that this is not considered one of the best restaurants in Jeff. The food was absolutely phenomenal, with such a simple but unique menu. Union has definitely gained a new customer tonight. If you have a chance to visit this establishment, take it!

I generally don't leave bad reviews, but this was a little bit of an exception. It was a beautiful 72° Wednesday evening, so we get some drinks and sit outside. Great atmosphere for sure. Then we head to the hostess stand and ask for a table. Mind you, there are empty tables inside. They ask for a phone number, which I decline. But then they say they can't seat me without a phone number. And that's where it stood. Refused us service, because I didn't want to give them my phone number. So we walked next door and ate at Parlour which is delicious and didn't need our phone number.
