We wanted to eat outdoors at the place across the street, but it was a blazing hot day and the umbrellas there gave no protection against the late day sun. We looked across the street and saw Ramiro's tables were on the shady side of the street. So we went there and were we glad we did. This is an unpretentious place with no waiter service. You order at the counter and they pile your item (burrito, soft taco, gordita etc.) with your chosen meat (of course there are veggie options) and whatever you toppings you choose. The smoked brisket and the carnita (pork) were both especially great, made fresh in house. All the toppings were also incredibly fresh and home-made. Prices were quite reasonable. We loved it so much we came back the next night (our last night in town).
Delicious, fresh food. The salted carmel chocolate ice cream is the bomb.
This place has the best smoked brisket tacos I've ever ate. It's like a subway but for real Mexican food!
Great food and nice cantina styled atmosphere with truly authentic food. Nice place for you and a date. Minimal seating but on a nice day you have outdoor seating available.
Excellent little Mexican food joint. The brisket and the carne asada were both really well flavored. The hot sauce was a nice habanero flavor. Recommended by friends and now I'd say it's worth the try as well! The staff was really kind as well.
Delicious and Fresh. Quickly in and out, Friendliest staff! I love this place!!
Great food, great service an people. Affordable
Sort of like a counter-serve chain, (Chipotle or Qdoba) but with Jarritos & horchata.
The food here is good, though a little pricey. Sometimes I wonder how long the meats have been sitting there. The reason for the low score here is some of their business practices. I went in once when I wasn't planning on it because a sign said Taco Tuesday, $2 tacos. That's it. Well, when I get my tacos turns out only chicken was on sale.. which is not what I got so ended up paying a lot more for lunch than I thought I would because they wouldn't honor the price. Subsequently they have put "Chicken only" on the advertisement. Also would be nice if they would price a large margarita for happy hour, as well..
Well, the food is well above your usual Chipotle's. It's (the food) is not in line with with it's venue. If you enjoy Chipotle restaurant then you will be disappointed in Chipotle's after having dined at Ramiro's. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of it's venue. It is open air and their was a fly with a death wish that wouldn't give up wanting his fill of the deliciousness that is Ramiro's Cantina. I definitely will be returning for my cravings of authentic Mexican fare. I commend the owner/s for their dedication in providing the highest standard of not only their food but their staff. They were above and beyond and went the extra mile with friendliness and attentiveness to their customers requests. Thank you for a great dinner and hope that you seriously consider opening a high end enclosed facility with the best of furniture and decor to meet the same level that your food on.
