I have been here several times prior to Mother's day and it was always good, but service this time was terrible he stated our orders wrong and we had to correct him, we had to ask for refills, never got our queso or jalapeno poppers appetizers and when we finally ask the manager about it , our waiter never returned, the manager finally brought food to us an hour later my fajitas were barely warm normally they are sizzling on the plate. My husband didn't get his beans in his taco salad as normal. I know they were busy, and we were enjoying sitting on the patio outside and so we were being very patient because of it but it was not a wait out the door busy. The food was not as good like usual either. They delivered queso with our dinner finally but no poppers so we cancelled those. A large table turned over next to us that waitress looked to be doing a great job there. We seemed to be forgotten this day. I probably won't be able to get my hubby to go to this location again sadly. The El Nopal in Sellersburg is better but no outside seats sadly.
I was very disappointed with this place during my visit two days ago. Our order was messed up, instead of beer 22 oz, we got 32, the water we requested was missing the slice of lemon we had asked for instead. We had to wait for about 40 minutes for our beer and another 25 minutes for queso dip. When they brought queso I asked for chips. I called 3 different waitresses during 15 minutes, no one reacted. Last waitress I asked was very rude and we had to leave without finishing our beer and queso. We were regular customers of this location but won't go there anymore after having this attitude and type of service.
In here quite often for deliveries, and practically every time I see someone disinfecting surfaces/general cleaning which is awesome. Typically busy every time I visit. Usually a 10 minute or so wait, but I tend to arrive early on most deliveries.
This is a beautiful location right next to the river. Service was mediocre although not too many people were dining during this visit.
Great food and service and to be an elevator and a walk away helped so much.
Nice place to hang out and have chips, salsa and beer. Food is good too. Waiters and waitresses checked on us frequently.

My friend took me out last night to this El Nopal’s since it’s so close to my house. I love their food here and draft beer. I got a tall. Dos Equis beer and a Carne Taco Salad. The beer was frosted and beautifully tasteful ? the taco salad had the perfect crunch and style and all the ingredients inside were fantastic ??? the server was great as well and a nice clean laid back atmosphere. I may end up making this my new El Nopals to come too. Had a great night.
Pretty solid Mexican food, nothing terribly special, but it was in line with my expectations.
