Outstanding food and great service!!!

This place has such a great looking menu it was hard to decide what to eat. I ordered the large combo breakfast with the waffles and a side of grits. The other orders were omelette and corned beef hash with pancakes and everyone loved their food! The pancakes were thin and amazing. Everything was perfect. We added a side of sausage after our food arrived and it was cooked fresh so it’s nice to know it doesn’t just come out of a warmer. They make fresh squeezed strawberry orange juice that is refreshing! Can’t wait to try this place again while we are in town for Indy 500.Lily was our server and she was such a sweetheart and very attentive!Update: returned a couple days later. Made the mistake of not asking for Lily and wish we had! She wasn’t our server but made sure to say hi again and check on our coffees. She’s the best! And food is still delicious.

Taki Kastanis dropped out of the University of Illinois and dabbled as a real estate broker before he launched a cafe chain serving creative breakfast dishes in 2006. Since then, breakfast has never been the same. Kastainis' chain covers Illinois, Indiana, Florida and Texas and has been voted the best breakfast in Chicago, Indianapolis, Dallas, Fort Worth and Boca Raton. The flagship, Yolk--City Way, is located at 220 East South Street in the Alexander Hotel in Indianapolis, between Delaware and Alabama streets, near Lucas Oil Stadium. Open from 7:30 to 2 daily, it offers a tasty if not totally traditional menu of breakfast and lunch dishes and sandwiches. My wife and I visited the City Way address in downtown Indianapolis for an early breakfast. My wife chose corned beef hash and eggs featuring house-made corned beef, seasoned potatoes, green pepper, onion, two scrambled eggs and English muffin. I started with a bowl of oatmeal, steal cut oats with oat milk, brown sugar, raisins, strawberries and blueberries. I'm a devotee of traditional Eggs Benedict and Yolk's version is a home run, consisting of poached eggs, Canadian bacon, English muffin, house-made hollandaise sauce and seasoned potatoes. We washed it all down with glasses of orange juice and strawberry/orange juice. We couldn't wait to return to our hometown of Chicago to sample Yolk's several downtown and suburban locations.

I’m stuffed, but the food is amazing so I’m overeating! The only thing better than the food is the service from Stefanie with an f. Request her section, you’ll be glad you did.

One of my favorite places to grab breakfast while in Indy! Server was super friendly.. service was great!I got the Cinnamon Roll pancakes.. if you like Cinnamon rolls you will LOVE this.

Friendly staff, nice establishmentVery clean and modern. Good food at reasonable prices...

Definitely one of the best brunches…..the music was jammin and the food was delicious and our waitress was outstanding! Definitely recommend if you are ever in Indy!!!!f

I stopped in after working out a crossed the street. I was greeted promptly. The waitress was helpfully with making some recommendations. After my order was in, my food arrived very quickly. The Ironman skillet was delicious!! The whole atmosphere was great. I definitely recommend and will be back in the next time I’m in town!!

Loved the fact that they serve single pieces of specialty French toast !! The perfect serving size. The food was yummy. Fast and the service was pretty good as well

I had this texmex skillet that I can't remember the name of. It was terrific. The only thing was, and it's minor, was using my smart phone to try and view the menu. The waitress promptly brought us a paper one. I had hot tea. It is fresh as in no tea bag. It's steeped in it's own little glass pot. They are big on breakfast. I saw lunch items as well. The place is bright and clean.
