For New Orleans cuisine in Indy, Yats is the real deal. I've been to several locations more than once and never been disappointed.
This Yats is quite small located in a strip mall. The staff are efficient and food is delivered fat. The meals are delivered quickly. You can get a single entrée or get half and half of 2 entees. Food is seasoned well. It is a good diversion from local burger joints.
The proteins/sauces are made somewhere else. Microwaved here, with an incredibly cheap portion poured over rice. Don't expect much crawfish, shrimp, chicken. All you get is rice. The downtown location is awesome. The 86th street location is dissappointing.
We have been going here for years and we have never had a bad meal. The grilled bread is the icing on the cake!
