Good food with a Unique view only a few restaurants can offer in Indy. Only complaint was after we had received our food it started to downpour out of no where. All the other guests outside were given seats inside but our waiter (who didn’t have any other outside tables) said no seats were left. Proceeded to get soaked as we basically asked for boxes and the check right away. Couple minutes later we make it inside to find half the bar empty and was bummed we weren’t just offered a seat there. Whole restaurant seemed to had been watching us and made joking comments (none were mean) or asking if we chose to stay out. Honestly probably just made the dinner more memorable but would be happy to come back all things considered.
GREAT food. My boyfriend and I came here on the night of the 4th of July to have dinner and watch the fireworks over the lake. They were understandably busy so the service was somewhat slower than expected, but our server did a great job and was very sweet. Our appetizers, entrees, and sides were AMAZING. There are many different places to sit, indoors and out, which is really nice. Great for families and adults alike.
Being our first time at Wolfies Grill-Geist, we were excited to try the establishment. The service was good when we could get her and we ate on the covered patio with the view of the marina and the reservoir. That part of the restaurant was not the cleanest. Had to keep swatting a wasp away from our table inside. The table was sticky and didn’t appear to be cleaned off. As for the meal, we both ordered the hamburger wrap. That was a disappointment. It was a wrap with lots of ketchup, mustard, onions and a MINUTE SPRINKLING of hamburger - which couldn’t be tasted. We ask the waitress if we could get just a hamburger patty and she said sure - for another $7 each. Overall, the experience was just okay. We may go back to give it another try, but definitely will not order the wrap.
Nice view, food and drinks. Had some fish with a bottle of wine and it was good. Went there with 3 coworkers and is a really nice place to hang out and look at the view. Had some wings too and they were really good.
Upscale pub food menu... We were seated where we had a very nice view of the Marina and boats. Host/ hostesses & servers were all very friendly & helpful. Server answered several questions about the menu confidently since it was our first visit. There was a lot we wanted to try on the menu.Pretzel Breadsticks with white queso were very good... doughy center which we both liked.I had a wedge salad & added the soy-chile salmon. The salmon came with Brussels sprouts that were excellent. The sauce was delicious on them and they were perfectly cooked.We shared the Wolfpack Mac & Cheese...(cavatappi). Very tasty but I think there was pepper jack because there was a slight kick & I don't care for that... my daughter loved it though.She said her Pan Crusted Chicken was OK but nothing spectacular.We will definitely return to try some other menu items!
Whoever the hostesses were past 7pm on 6/3 were killing the game! The place was swamped, there was a huge wait (because people love this place) but these hostesses were so friendly, communicable, funny, and willing to work with you! They made our wait the most fun part of our night and helped us get the table we wanted through all of the crowds. 11/10 to the hostesses at wolfies, best service I’ve ever had!!
Can't think of any reason to rate Wolfies Grill-Geist any less than 5☆s. Pretty much a casual First Class restaurant and bar. Atmosphere was inviting, service was exactly as you would expect, and the food was as good as you hoped. Given the crowd on a Friday evening, our group of seven waited about 20 minutes for a large booth. My wife ordered a wedge salad with blue cheese, and she absolutely enjoyed it. I had the Smokehouse burger with fries. Burger was good, fries were outstanding. Could very well be our new go-to during our future Indy trips!
Ordered carryout. Randy was so nice on the phone, accommodating, and even gave me a “courtesy call” to let me know the total after I mentioned I was paying with cash! (I even told him it wasn’t necessary- just wanted to make sure I sent my husband with the correct tip)The Salmon Salad and Pan Crusted Chicken was on point, but the best thing we ordered were the wings- dry rub, extra crispy- SO GOOD!Great job and thank you!
Good management team at Wolfies. Went for NYE dinner at 5:00 and the band had to set up near us. The mgmt comped our dinners and were very apologetic. In addition, the food and service were great.
Sat on the back porch in sub 30 Temps. The gas fire pit makes alot of heat. Very warm and a good view of the reservoir. Great service, good food.
