Great all you can eat sushi for a very reasonable price. Staff were nice and restraunt was clean for the most part. It's definitely not a high end sushi place, but for the taste and price, it really can't be beat. I wish they had a bit of a bigger and more expansive menu, but most of what we tried was great. My boyfriend loves this place, because it's one of the few places he can get hand rolls, and all you can eat ice cream.
Great food!! The all you can eat buffet is a really good cost benefit.
Before I met my boyfriend, I hated sushi. He told me that if he took me to Watami's, I would change my mind. I definitely did not expect to like any sushi as much as I like theirs. We usually get the house hand rolls. The American Dream roll is my favorite. They have a huge selection, so I cannot speak on behalf of the things I have not tried yet. I read their other reviews and saw people complaining about how they charge for pieces that were left uneaten. It literally states on their menu that they do that. If some people would read, they would have known. Fresh fish is not an easy resource to get in landlocked states. So if you waste it, of course they will charge for wasted product. The service has always been quick, the waitresses are friendly and take their time to explain what each roll is if you order several at a time, and I have liked almost everything that I have tried there.
Very friendly staff and an amazing menu where everything is deliciously prepared with care. I can not suggest to you enough the wow factor of the presentation here and the overall flavours and aromas are simply heavenly. If you choose any sushi restaurant in this city let it be this one.

I have been here many times before and LOVE it, but the last time I went, for my birthday too, there were some problems that made me sad more than anything… the smell of bleach was overwhelming the entire time. I truly understand being sanitary is important, however, this was unappetizing (one of my friends lost her whole appetite). At the end, the waitress was rude about the pieces of sushi we had left (it was under the rule amount) and even if we were over, we were gladly willing to pay. After the discussion of the leftover pieces she never spoke to us again, not a goodbye or anything. The food was good as always and we never intentionally “over order.” I will still return to Watami, but my most recent experience was not my fav :/
Best place in Indy for all you can eat sushi. Attentive staff and quick chefs make for an easy in and out experience. Wonderful atmosphere that you wouldn't expect just driving by. Highly recommend. Eat all that you order to avoid paying extra!!
Exquisite fine dining if I do say so myself. I wouldn’t choose any other sushi restaurant in the Tri-state area of Indiana. The quality of the sushi and other appetizers just ring a bell in my stomach. I could never experience such delicacy elsewhere such as I do in Watami All you can eat SUSHI. Amazing! Wonderful! Magnificent! Scrumdidliumptious! Supercalifradgilisticexpialadocious! I love it!
First time trying this sushi restaurant!! The food came out fast and the servers were extremely nice! Would definitely go again! However, the drinks are a bit over priced.
It was delicious! My favorite is the Godzilla roll. Tempura Shrimp is also very good.
