Wonderful time at Tony's. I sat in the bar area and enjoyed a solo dinner with great food and cocktails.
The strip steak was great better than ones Iâve had at Del Friscoâs. - had lots of flavor. The mussels were good quality. Iâd rather the mussels in a white wine sauce. This was a red sauce with Chorizo - the broth was a little too salty. The mixed greens salad was very good but has a lot of red onions. I love a wedge salad and this one was just ok. Usually comes with ranch but I asked for blue cheese. There wasnât enough dressing so requested more - the salad was just ok. Iâd go with a different one. The service was good but he was new so not the service of an experienced steakhouse waiter. It was a very nice evening.
Very disappointed overall. The service was average, and our server tried her best, but the food was not worth the price. The wedge salad had almost no dressing or bacon and the tomatoes were in big chunks just laid over to the side. The bread pudding had clearly been microwaved. It was too hot with that chewy texture food gets after being microwaved. Chairs were torn and tattered, and there were very few other customers. Please know I never write reviews and I am mostly always satisfied but this was not worth the price. Given their rankings, I thought I should share. Hopefully they will see this and attempt to improve their quality.
While the steaks were delicious as usual, the rest of the experience was less than ideal. We didnât receive our sides until 15 min after we got our steaks, and the Brussels Sprouts were very undercooked. Our reservation was for 7:45, and we didnât receive our food until 9:45. Everything was slow, from our table, to the service. The restaurant was busy when we first arrived, but by 9 pm had mostly cleared so we were confused why everything was taking so long. The last straw for this review was the dirty bathroom. Weâre sad for the subpar experience because weâve had great dinners at Tonyâs prior. Hopefully management can make the necessary changes!
Outstanding food and service.
Tonyâs is a fine dining experience. Our waiters were very attentive and personable while allowing us the time to truly enjoy our dinner. It is one of the best in Indy. Highly recommend
Service was exceptional. First time here. Wonât be the last. Our party of three thoroughly enjoyed our meal - appetizers, drinks and entrees. Canât speak to desert as didnât have room. You get what you pay for
Very good food, but very expensive. Felt like good prices were about 10-15% high but alcohol wasnât bad. Will be coming back for special occasions. Ambience is nice and well lit!
Fantastic as always. Steak was perfectly cooked and delicious. Service was over the top. Pretty pricey but you get what you pay for.
