This place is absolutely phenomenal. We've been going here for over a year now, the staff is always fantastic to us. It feels really good to walk in to a place that knows you and know what you like. They are always staffed for the customers that come in and the food is wonderful. From the moment you walk in and the moment you walk out, you feel welcomed and I love it. Whatever the management team is doing, keep doing it!
I love The Original Pancakes House and while visiting Indianapolis went for breakfast. We were greeted and seated promptly by our very personable waitress. I noticed the entire staff worked as a team and each checking on all patrons for coffee refills or anything needed. Our food arrived quickly and was hot and delicious. It was about 1/3 capacity and customers well spaced out.
Such an amazing place! The staff are friendly and always take great care of us. The food is always spectacular! I have never had my order come out wrong in over 20 years of visiting this establishment. They were busy when we arrived, yet they had us seated quickly. Our server was excellent and the turn around on our ticket time was quite impressive for how packed the place was.
Our waitress was amazing however we were attacked by ants at our table and the staff acted as if it was normal! My cousin had ants in her food and orange juice.
This place was amazing! The service and food was awesome! The pancakes and french toast were the bomb! I’d definitely invite my family here again!
Stopped in around 10 am or so, ordered a waffle, potatoes and a drink. Didn't even wait 20 mins and I was out the door. Fast service when not busy.
My visit was horrible. The western omelet that I waited 40 minutes for was overcooked and brown. The other other guest at my table also experienced overcooked omelets, burnt waffles and poor service. I will never eat here again.
I ordered the baked Brian's Irish Omelette with 4 eggs & their homemade corned beef hash. I was expecting it to be heavy & lumpy. It was light, fluffy, & an abundance of cheese. Fantastic server also.
A classic, I would recommend to some but the quality of their food has dipped for a while with some occasions the plates of glasses having a weird egg smell to them and the food sometimes taking longer than should. But on other occasions the food is great and the location is great to meet up with friends or family.
Cozy atmosphere, very friendly service, and accomodations for dietary restrictions. They even had our food to us in a timely manner on Christmas Eve, which we didn't expect considering the amount of diners. Definitely recommend.
