Memorial Day weekend on a Sunday they were super busy parking lot was full - good sign food must be good! Was blown away by the amount of selection! Large bars lots of variations from seafood to steak and ribs to made to order crepes! Even tho they were super busy everything stayed stocked and fairly clean! Waitress was very attentive without us even being aware of her, our drinks stayed full and plates cleared without being bothered. Price was great for what we got - two people ate to the busting point for less than $40! Can’t beat that! Everything I tried was pretty good. Have I had better food …probably. Have I had worse? Most definitely! Over all as far as buffets go this Is one of the better I’ve been to.
It is cheap. We came for lunch on weekdays and paid 430 total for two persons. But the food is not really Chinese food.
Always a pleasant experience at 'The Journey'.The wife and I really enjoy this place from the variety of food, to the freshness and quality of it. Meats-pastas-sushi-vegetables-seafood-fruits-desserts, so much more and even a chocolate fountain! Staff is always tentative and friendly and the place is nice and clean. Great food good times.
On the outside this place looks like it would be nice, and it’s in a great location with plenty of parking. The waitress was kind and she wasn’t the problem. The food was not good, and frankly the place seemed fairly dirty. Overall, very unimpressed.
Absolutely amazing! Huge selection of just about everything. Kids even loved it! Best seafood buffet we've ever been to. Not to mention the restaurant was beautiful. Somewhere you could make a date night! We will definitely be back soon!!
My Brother and I stopped into The Journey for lunch. The food was super delicious, with an unbelievable variety.Waiters were Awesome, attentive and friendly.
Having to leave a tip is worth it to me. Dinner is okay, the crab legs are usually tiny and not worth a visit to me. But the lunch is well worth it.
I’m so confused by all of these 4+ star reviews. This place is not good. From what I can tell they were pretty good before Covid and even then it sounds like people just went for the crab legs, which they don’t have anymore. It is so disorganized and overcrowded, they can’t even keep up with replenishing the food. The food is not worth the crowd it pulls. The only memorable thing was the coconut shrimp. I can get the same food for cheaper and with less people at a different buffet. Also, the ladies at the front were pretty rude, but our waitress was awesome!
The food was amazing. The crouds waiting to get in said a lot for the place. Everything I tried was cooked perfectly. The Prime Rib, Pork Ribs, the Polish Sausage. Shrimp fettuccine, the amazing garlic Frog Legs. There were lots of Chinese and American Dishes to choose from. There was a dozen different Shrimp Dishes, a full Sushi bar, salad bar and dessert bar. Highly recommended as one of the BEST BUFFETS in Indianapolis.??? We will certainly be back.
Very good food and fresh love everything
