A few pros but mostly cons. We arrived on a busy evening and told the wait would be 50-60 minutes. No big deal to us as we were not in a hurry. We actually got a table within 10 minutes, in the bar area, so pro! Our server came relatively quickly and took our drink and appetizer order and then returned with drinks and took our entree order. It was just my husband and I so we split a combo meal. Well then my husbands drink never got refilled in a timely manner, 3x despite him leaving it on the end of the table and multiple servers walking by including ours without noticing - con. We never received rolls (I sat there wondering if they still did that or not and then saw our server taking some to a new table as we left, very mad about that - con. The appetizer was good of fried pickles and the sides were good, pro. BUT both the ribs and the steak were not very grand. The ribs did fall off the bone but the meat was incredibly dry, I had to add steak sauce to it (odd for ribs). And the steak which was supposed to be medium rare, was medium, again not a huge deal as I tend to order steaks both ways but we weren’t asked if it was cooked correctly specifically, and again it had very little flavor and needed A-1 so con. They were very busy, but our server did not seem overwhelmed or rushed, she really seemed like she just didn’t pay very good attention to us at all and then the meats were not really good at all. We were not impressed, I hadn’t been to a Texas Roadhouse in many years and I can say we won’t be in a rush to go back.
Decided to stop on a Thursday right after they opened. Hostess offered fresh rolls and we was taken to our seats in the bar. Manager greeted us as we was being seated. Server was very attentive and our food was cooked to perfection! Large parking lot, with curbside carryout and handicap parking available.
We've ordered carryout from Texas Roadhouse frequently, even before the pandemic. We are always given generous portions of good quality food, and our items are always handed to us by happy workers, with a smile on their face. Always appreciate the fast service, and the ability to order online makes this one of my favorites!
Decent food, atmosphere, prices and service was friendly .
My husband and I had dinner yesterday, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. He had a ribeye and I had smothered chicken. Both were amazing! The steak and chicken were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Our baked potatoes were super hot and there was a good amount of toppings. The green beans were delicious as well! Now for the staff...The hostess was pleasant and quick to greet us. Our server, Rachel, was absolutely wonderful! Although she was waiting on quite a number of other tables, she was personable, attentive, efficient and just a pleasure to interact with all the way around. We will be asking for her on our next visit. The extra touch came when a manager stopped by our table to ask how everything was and if we needed anything. We told him everything was great and that we didn't need a thing. He smiled, thanked us for coming in.Thank you Southport Crossing Texas Roadhouse for a 5 star experience! My husband and I will be back soon!
Every time I go to this restaurant, the service absolutely suabsolutely sucks not to mention my order is wrong nearly every time period I have complained multiple times about this restaurant and after my visit today, it was my last 1. I will drive 10 or 15 minutes out of my way to go to another restaurant just to avoid that 1. You order online and your foods 15 or 20 minutes late and then when you get it it's cold and the order is not complete as well. The worst steakhouse I've ever been to in my 61 years of living.
I had the sirloin and barbecue chicken combo and my husband had the sirloin and chicken Critters. Steaks were the size expected and cooked perfectly and the chicken was so tender the knife just fell through it. The baked potato was a little overcooked so I'll take a point away for that and I did ask for two serving of salad dressing for each of our salads which I did not get so I'll take another point for that but a solid 4.8 Texas Roadhouse Southport Crossing. job well done.
First time here. They were out of peanuts in the waiting room, 40+ minute wait. Worth it. Will be back.
Called in two salads no tomatoes or egg with extra cheese. Pulled up let them know I was there , cost over 10 bucks and waited over 25 minutes. I need to mention it was not busy at all. Again they disappoint. One carry out person stood talking to a friend as well during my wait. So frustrating with this place. This is a picture of what I got
It was busy. We had great food and even better service. This time we got the server that doesn't mess around. I forgot her name, but her badge said she was there for 5 years. Anyway, she was always approaching our table and refilling drinks just as they got low, incl alcohol. Also, she somehow delivered our food quickly despite the packed restaurant. So my steak was well done instead of medium. I am giving 5 stars still, because the experience was made memorable by your best (must be) server. Btw, try your steak w mush, onion, and BROWN GRAVY.
