It doesn't get any more authentic than this! The food is amazing and at a great price! The staff was very friendly, and we didn't wait long AT ALL for our food. I definitely recommend that you try it!
Absolutely my favorite street taco place in the city. Simple and authentic spot that makes delicious tacos. Highly recommend the lengua tacos and al pastor.

One of my fave places in Indy to get carne asada tacos! Tacos 46 is definitely in my top 3 favorite taco joints in Indy. The carne asada tacos are so flavorful and filling. However, I’m not sure if it was an off day or something, but my bf and I got tortas once, and we did not like it. They used a different meat than the meat for the tacos it seemed like. However, their carne asada tacos and horchata has never failed to hit the spot!
If there's one taco joint in Indy that I can reccommend, it's this place! I don't know what it is, maybe because everything comes with a side of radishes and lime, or the oh-so-crisp fresh cilantro, but I have NEVER been disappointed ! ! !
We drive up from Greenwood to Tacos 46 every couple of months because it is DELICIOUS. The food is not like other Mexican restaurants locally. The food here is simple and flavorful. The food is not saturated in cheese served with stale sides of rice and beans. I wish we lived closer so we could eat here more often!
I love Tacos 46. Food is hot, fresh and tastes amazing. Restaurant is spotless, orders are easy to place and servers are smiling and efficient.
As much as I love taco trucks, this restaurant is even better. Their food and services are amazing. The place is very clean. They also provide birthday parties and have a panadería. The food taste amazing. The chips are savoring. I recommend getting their horchata drink. Amazingly done. Overall a great place to have lunch or dinner.
We are a new law firm in the area, I recommended 10 of my coworkers to go eat lunch at this place. We each placed our orders and left a tip on the card. Before we left, one of the lady workers chased us out on the parking lot complaining that we didn’t leave a tip on the table. I asked if we were supposed to double tip since we all had previously gave one on the card when we prepaid for our food. Not to mention that 2 of my coworkers got their order wrong and wanted them to pay again to correct their mistake. More than anything i am sadden about the no-profesional attitude. My coworkers have all expressed how this was their first time here and they will NEVER come back here again. I am sad and disappointed. I love the food but to the mistreatment, we have decided not to eat here again. This place will miss out on 40+ people from our firm - since the word quickly spread about this place so sorry for TACOS 46.
Fast close local authentic taco place. Prices are okay. Food is pretty good. A solid 4 star experience.
