What a great find! Sweet and savory crepes, many gluten free! There’s also a ramen restaurant in the back.
The crepe was delicious. The guys working there appeared to be depressed, not a smile or acknowledgement when we walked in and the cashier was downright rude. Good product but the staff could at least acknowledge that you’re trying to order.
Addictive, melt-in-your-mouth thin crepes, both savory and sweet! The memorable flavor of the crepe itself really came through filled with these traditional dessert ingredients. I ordered matcha-strawberry crepe; I am personally not a fan of matcha, but the crepe was pretty balanced. It was NOT overpowered by matcha, but rather perfect combination of strawberry, chocolate, and matcha with crunch and softness.
I waited over 50 minutes for 3 crepes in what felt like a not too busy restaurant. Only 1 person was making crêpes for all of Indianapolis; and even still, it should not have taken that long with only a couple of people in front of me. In France, crepes are often sold as a street food because they can be made quickly since crepes are so thin and the toppings are in hand to readily add. The wait time was absolutely unbelievable. You can’t leave or cancel your order because the restaurant immediately takes your money after ordering instead of paying when the food is ready. Like many other reviews have stated, there seems to be priority over delivery orders but complete inattention to managing the volume inside. I would not recommend this to anyone; even if they had time to spare.
My husband and I showed up at 11:00 because online says they open at 11:00. We walked in and it is combined with another restaurant Wei Ramen, which is confusing. The Wei Ramen said they were separate businesses and that Tswirl crepe opened at 11:30. Even though, online and the pamphlet say they open at 11:00 am. We waited and the employee didn't walk in until 11:40. She was setting up and we asked how long it would be until we could order and she said another 20 minutes. I was most excited to try the gluten free crepes but I was there a whole hour and got no food. If you go, don't show up early because you will be highly disappointed.
Good concept but the crepes look way better than they taste. The strawberry-Nutella crepes had barely any Nutella in it and when we asked for more while they were making it (because we saw they didn’t put enough at all) they told us that it is 2$ more. Personal was rude. Crêpe’s dough was disappointing. NOT RECOMMENDED
This was a great ambience and the crepes were great! I had the lychee crepe but I wish that I had more sauce/custard on mine because it was a bit dry. Otherwise, service and pricing is great!
My husband had a uber eats order here and they said 15 minutes to wait. We ended up waiting 45+ minutes and although first ones in everyone age us got there order and we were some of the last to leave. Food we ordered came from downstairs which implies to me that it's not fresh like the crepes. Want best experience order what the establishment specializes in which we will do if there EVER IS a next time.
Excellent crepes! Give them a try! Also their strawberry mint tea and wild berry tea are good as well.
I had the strawberry banana crepe and it was yummy!
