Very good tacos and Salsa choices.
When stopping by for a break from driving I stumbled upon this hidden gem. Complete with a salsa tray and the most delicious tacos, this is worth a stop! On an intersection where there are multiple Mexican restaurants I cannot stress enough how this is the one to go to.
Let me first start with: the tacos have never disappointed me. I’ve been eating here since they opened, when there was a natural black hair salon next door. I want to say it’s been 4 years now. I’ve since moved to the south side and yet I still drive here at least once a month. The rating is not reflective of the food rather the service. Over the past two years or so the service has declined. There is one young woman, thin build, that treats every customer with a smile. They don’t speak much English but for the most part I’ve never felt different or uncomfortable in the environment. It’s always filled with smiling families and staff. However, the last two times, I’ve been so disappointed. I have been using the online ordering app. It’s been pretty precise when it comes to the pick up time. One day I step up to the register, there’s a new person taking orders. She doesn’t greet me, doesn’t say hello, just stares at me. So I tell her, I placed my order online. Now, more people begin to line up behind me. So she ask what was the order, 12 tacos half chicken half steak. She tells me it will be up in a few moments and to have a seat. I’m sitting, watching as she takes other orders, she goes to the back brings other orders out, and we continuously make eye contact. You know the type of glance that assures the customer I see you, I know you’re waiting. So I thought. 20 minutes goes by, and nothing. After I see a guy get his food I walk up to the register and my food has been sitting behind her for God knows how long. She says nothing but stares at me again with a look as if I’m bothering her. I ask, is that my food. She looks behind her, again not saying anything, picks up my food and hands it to me. I say, as calmly as I can, you didn’t see me sitting and waiting. No response: I proceed to say I’m sure it’s cold, she says I’m sorry but with more of a get out of here tone. After 4 years of support I’m no longer eating here. When I got home the two extra verde sauces I paid for were not in the bag. I will spend my money when I am welcomed, this place is no longer the spot for me.
This is definitely my new numero uno for tacos! If you dine in there is a hot sauce flight that comes out right before your food. The tacos are packed and there is always enough that spills out to have another taco. Food come out fast and hot. Dining room seats about 20 max.
Great tacos with crispy corn tortillas. We ordered a quesadilla as well but forgot to take a picture before it was devoured. Most notably, everything was super fresh and not greasy! The place was packed and service remained strong. We will be back!
This small strip mall restaurant is putting out big flavors. They offer a variety of street tacos, burritos, sopes, taquitos and meals. Food comes with 4 salsas and lime wedges, radishes and cucumber slices. The chorizo has great flavor and the pastor is on point. There is only about 7 tables in the restaurant so it fills up during lunch. It does a lot of take out during lunch.
Super Taco is fabulous. Highly recommend, everything I have ordered has been fabulous.
The tacos are good, authentic and fresh. But no fountain drinks! You have to settle for a can of something (mine was warm Sprite). But I would get this to go. It's good.
I suggested this location for lunch for my company. We ordered and picked up the order. All the orders were correct. They did not provide any sauces with the large order. No big deal. I called them to let them know we did not receive any sauces with our order. I had to talk to 2 different people before I was given the go ahead to return to get the sauces. Accountability and easy to work with is a plus for me. The owner (I guess that was the second person) finally told me I could come get the sauces. I will most like find a different restaurant next time.
