Delivers exactly what you expect: a quick, high-quality lunch for about 10-15 bucks. Best I’ve had an Indy. I got the Gio and Brazilian Meat Stew and both are fantastic. Mac and cheese was good- it wasn’t a crazy portion or quite as good as the other stuff, but not a disappointment.
Fast and respectful people. Talk about A1 service… no other place in downtown Indy can compete with their customer service. They greet you right away upon arriving and show you respect during your visit… good cookies too!!
Subito is the best all around restaurant in the city. My go-to is the Revelo sandwich with either the macaroni salad or just about whatever soup they serve.Its not a sit down 5-course experience, its not a steakhouse, its not a tgi fridays. But the food they serve is objectively a cut above most restaurants in the city, then when you consider value... game over. They run a tight ship - lunch only through the week, but it allows them to use high quality ingredients, take time to prepare complex flavors, and take care of and employ good people. If you haven't tried it, you must.
YUM! Delicious soups, salads and sammies + the NICEST group of gents makes this my favorite lunch spot downtown. I also love that they open at 10:00am (and are actually serving all menu items at that time) so I can pick up an order on my way into the office. My personal favorites are the Greek salad with grilled chicken add extra dressing (because they make their own dressings and they're DELICIOUS) and the meatloaf sammie with mac&cheese, when I just want some comfort food. Would go here multiple times a week if I worked downtown, but will happily take the few times a week I go in late to the office. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out, and go ahead and get a cookie. They're also homemade and completely worth the calories.
It was AWESOME. I ordered the shrimp and sausage gumbo, caesar salad and butter bread. It was all delicious! The bread was PERFECT and the customer service was lovely!Ill be back!
I've eaten a lot of food over my 35 years of life and now that Subito is among the food I've eaten, I can die happy.I had the turkey pesto sandwich and the loaded potato soup (with every toping).The sandwich was a symphony of flavors that did not overwhelm. The soup was delicious in a way that is was understated yet filled with bass just rattling through my mouth. Nothing in the food was sharp or overpowering it all blended together like a great piece of music and I'd love to go back again when I have the opportunity.Great places stay open because of great staff, I was only in the restaurant for a mere minute but the energy of the staff seemed great. Not a foul mood to be seen. I was greeted and given my food with a joyful attitude.Thanks Subito staff you're the real MVPs.
I had the turkey chili it was so good and they let me sample the black eyed pea soup oh my goodness fire so good and they were so nice and so quick ??

I will be a repeat customer!Always here for a soup and salad combo so I ordered a Caesar salad and cup of loaded potato soup. You can tell everything is homemade with fresh, quality ingredients. They offer a variety of salads, sandwiches, and soups.It’s a small shop, carry out only so no seating which was fine for me because I like to take my lunch back to the office. There were probably 15 people standing/ordering so I wasn’t sure how long I would have to wait for my order but it was out in a quick 5 minutes! Every worker there was moving fast and hard to get orders out.Love that it gives off a local small business vibe. I’ll be back ??
