Saw this place on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. We went on a Saturday around noon and it was packed. Food was awesome, best pork tenderloin sandwich I’ve ever had. Our server also helped make it a great experience.
I got takeout on a Sunday evening. I ordered online and the process was easy. The website menu is not kept as up to date as the online ordering menu, so there was a few surprises. When I got to the restaurant, it did look like it was from the 1950s. A sign on the door said to pick up take out orders in the back, so I drove around back. I had to call the restaurant then on the posted number since the window isn't manned and their bell doesn't work. The food was very tasty. Greasy, and terrible for you, but so yummy. I had a Twin Steer (like a Big Boy or Big Mac), tater tots, and apple pie. All very good.
I love the Steer In! I get breakfast here regularly and always enjoy it. The prices and offerings are perfect! Our regular waitress, Sadie, is always very nice and welcoming! I will definitely continue to be a regular!
Top rated tenderloin and onion rings are well deserved. Onion rings are house made with a light batter. Very delicious! Hard to even find a true breaded tenderloin. Theirs is amazing!50s diner style restaurant. Very clean and everyone was welcoming!
First time here. With more visits to come! I don't even know where to start. I had the beef in noodles, mashed potatoes w/brown grave, and sweet corn. The appearance, taste, and serving portions were awesome! My husband had the western BBQ sandwich and fries. One thing we love is when places use fresh beef, not frozen patties. He said the burger was flavorful, and not dry. The bacon was nice and thick. We also had the breaded ? mushrooms. Now I'm not a big fan ofMushrooms but every once in a great while. But these mushrooms were great! Nicely hand-breaded whole mushrooms and not soggy.The atmosphere was laid back and a mix of ages. Our waitress ( wish I got her name) was fantastic! She was full of energy and had a great personality.
Man I stopped in and got one of the specials of the day. Fish and chips, but I chose fries and cold slaw. Hot, fresh, crunchy, actually very colorful and mouth watering. I took the first bite of the fish and couldn't stop until the French fries called my name. Golden and crisp yet flavor like they should. I Really enjoyed the meal which was at a price I could afford. The waitress was very pleasing and easy to work with. I must return soon for more.
Amazing food & service! Staff is very helpful & friendly, great family environment plus clean! Covid-19 friendly they have wall barriers to help protect customers when eating around people. Great location lots of things to do around the area after a great meal!
