Worker in the dining room knew I was there before other people, but instead took the order of people who came in after me. (No self order kiosks at this location.)Didn't plan to, but through circumstances wound up at another Steak N Shake. Ordered 5 Way Chili, and got no utensils to eat it with. When I asked for some, was only given a spoon. Asked for three packs of oyster crackers, got 1.I had been wanting to dine in since the pandemic closed their dining rooms, but they aren't the same.

Went through the drive thru Friday evening on July 1st. Short, heavyset, light skinned girl had her phone out after I handed her my debit card (taking pictures of my card) and low and behold early Saturday morning my bank is blowing my phone up asking if these 20 some purchases at the wee hours of the morning were purchases I made. It was the only time in 48 hours I had used my card and the fact she had her phone out actively toggling on it while my card was in her possession doesn't leave much to imagine who, when, where my card info was stolen. I even had a bad feeling handing her my card, she just looked shady. Thanks steak n shake

My overall experience was good. The food was prepared well. However the self service kiosk were everywhere. The dining in experience has totally changed. No waitress, no Ice Cream bar nor stools to watch them make milk shakes. Service is becoming a thing of the past. The Drive thru was busy , which effected the inside dining service. So for the most part. You might as well go through the drive thru. Service isn't much better in the inside.

I accidentally threw away my receipt, and they couldn't provide a duplicate of the receipt because they claim that they are a franchise, and you have to reach out to corporate to get a copy, but corporate doesn't answer the phone.Staff is also very minimal because they don't have waitresses, and check out is through a kiosk. The staff that they do have are either in the kitchen, drive-thru, or only bring food out to a handoff plane. They also continue to pull people forward, for no reason, other than to lower their drive-thru times.

I dislike the new kiosk and good delivery system. I may as well go to Freddy's. Better quality food.I felt pushed out by the staff and I felt like I was inconvenience for being there.

Because I asked for a meal order and he didn't put the drink then he charge us for drink. But the drink supposed to be add on the meal that we pay. This is unfair. I think the one is in drive thru doesn't pay attention when he was training. This is happen 3/11/22 around 7 pm. Plus I didn't even see any receipts. ??‍♀️ Plus we order large meal. Then he charge us for large drink then he gave medium.

Everything was delicious, for dinner a 2pc.an 3peice fish. The 6pc.shrimp was Delicious ? The service was great. The only thing was hush puppies weren't finished on the inside. They brought us four more they were a little better. My husband said the Greece was too high and that's why the inside wasn't done. He has fixed them a few times when we have fish dinners ?

LOL...me and my neices were on the hunt for fast food. The li es were too longbat the other places which meant too long of a wait.We had great fast service at Steak N Shake...will bw our pick over the other places from now on.

Per some of the previous reviews, I've had the same NEGATIVE experience, EVEN AFTER TALKING TO THE OWNER!!! After sending a complaint thru the app on Tuesday 3/8 (due to one of his MANAGERS rudely telling me she wouldn't honor a birthday coupon for a burger and fries because she needed a bar code and that their location was a franchise, pointing me to a sign that said as much, but was hidden out of view), I responded to the owner's VM message. While he did respond, he seemed to have not read my complaint; if he did, he was selective about what was in it and what he addressed. He assumed it was about a "milkshake offer;" it wasn't. He said that his manager turned me away because the coupon in question was "expired;" again, it wasn't and besides: she NEVER questioned or spoke about the expiration date, just about the bar code and that they were a franchise who doesn't always honor coupons from corporate. While the owner did honor the coupon and said to come back in and speak to him and another manager for the meal, I came back and the very same manager who turned me away was now handling my food, as the owner was supposedly in a meeting. After she prepared my food, she then apologized, first saying she didn't know, which was questionably vague. She then said she had previously dealt with 1or 2 customers (before me) that had "expired coupons" (she didn't say if they were paper, from the app or from online). She continued by saying that my particular coupon was "on a timer, since it was a birthday coupon or something..." "On a timer?!" This is why I wanted to talk to the owner: To probably get an owner's perspective on how the app and its coupons function, relative to franchises and corporation-owned locations. Once app coupons appear on one's account, they're on that account until they're used, or they expire (or if there's an issue with the app). There is no "timer;" so, until the last, she seemed to be trying to cover up her initial errors with more excuses and an extended lie of a story...In short, dine here at your own risk!!!

I usually don't have problems at this Stake n' Shake. I like the convenience and most of the time it was quick! But I did experience an unpleasant encounter the last time I went here about a month ago. In the drive-thru, I could only pull up far enough to where just the front left side of my car was barely in front of the speaker. The lady in the drive thru started speaking, but I had my window up. I rolled it down and she spoke again asking for my order. I said part of my order, with my head sticking out of the window so she can hear me. Silence.... So I expected she hadn't heard me. So when the car moved up I was able to adequately pull up to the speaker and see the menu. The same woman said "ma'am I already took your order you can pull forward." I responded "Oh, I wasn't finished, I didn't know you heard me." She said "Well we do have cameras and I did take your order but I guess I can add to your order." I'm sorry... what?? Never was I argumentative. I work in customer service myself and I understand the strain that is going on right now. But this was just unacceptable. I could not even see the menu, not to mention the lights are out on it. Arguing with a customer who had no intention of being argumentative, and pulling the switch on me saying she has cameras??. She was probably just taking her anger out on me for something that had happened earlier. But as a representative for your company, you need to learn to put that aside for the next costumer. I haven't been back since and probably won't.
