Very friendly staff and delicious food. Love that it's just around the corner from where I live.
Drive Thru..... The Steak and Shake brand has really gone down hill. Hasn't been the same since the pandemic. It's like that a lot of restaurants though. It's like the chains that have survived the economic turmoil, have employees now that just don't want to be there. They hate their jobs. They feel like they should be making $50,000 a year to work fast food and they suck at it anyways, and it doesn't matter to them. They feel entitled, and they should get $50,000 a year just for showing up. Their employee's lazy, unmotivated, entitled attitude, definitely shines through in their food too. Horrible service. Horrible food. Pass on it. ????
Haven't been to this location in years, didn't have to long of a wait for my food, restaurant was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere.
I got such great service. And the manager on duty Ty (don't know correct spelling) gave me such great service coming from out out of town tired and hungry made me feel so much better. Thank You ?
A lot quicker getting your food now that they have switched over to ordering from the kiosk. Love the double steakburger deluxe.
Best experience at Steak & Shake in more than 10 years! Every Christmas when family gets together we go out for Steak & Shake. We walked in with 14 people at lunch time. We were greeted by Crystal who politely explained the kiosk ordering. While we placed orders, she put tables together to accommodate our group. Before some wereeven finished ordering our food starting arriving! Again Crystal helpfully brought orders to the table, and helped with ketchup,, peperrs, napkins, etc. Everything was correct, hot, tasty,and enjoyable. Meanwhile Crystal also managed the other customers with ease. Needless to say we left a great tip and thanked her tremendously for the service. Also, the restaurant looked very clean. The staff here are doing a fabulous job! We will be back!
I like the new addition of ordering on a kiosk food was ready in just a under 5 minutes. Also self-service drinks. Really enjoyed my experience and will definitely return. P.S. get cheese on the fries. First time I tried it. So good.
I am loving the new kiosks that they have in there. It makes it nice and easy to order what you want, get your drink, and just sit down until your food is ready. They also have super helpful and friendly staff that have no problem explaining how to use the kiosks or helping you get things. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat, especially considering that it costs as much as McDonald's but tastes three times better
