There sign says they close at midnight. But the employee said they close in 5 minutes. Only drive thru is open until midnight. But their website also says dining in until midnight. So someone needs to tighten up! This is B.S.!
Food was good. Sad that this has become a "workaurant" now, using the kiosk to order and picking up your own food and drink. During the times of labor shortage I get that you must adapt and overcome and this was the solution. The food was great, and the kitchen staff was friendly. This is still a better value option for my family.
Maybe I should wait to write my review until after I've calmed down a bit, but I am angry with this location. I waited in the drive thru line for almost an HOUR to get my food. There were only four or five cars ahead of me! That is an ABSURD amount of time to wait for a "fast" food order. Then, the dude working the window wanted to give me attitude when I asked for a receipt because I wanted proof of my order in case they messed it up, which, shocker, they did. Absolutely ridiculous and incompetent. I will NOT be returning to this location anytime soon. The line took so long that at LEAST four cars hopped out of the line to go elsewhere. If I hadn't been stuck in the line, I absolutely would've done the same.The ONLY reason they get two stars instead of one is because the food is fresh and somewhat tasty. Is it wait-an-hour tasty? Absolutely not, but it's still worth a star.
I don't like the new way to order and they gor my order wrong didn't put my grill onions on my hamburger I went up to tell them they gave me a little black cup half full it's in my picture
Dine in experience has drastically changed. It was amazingly clean! The employees were just waiting to help, and cleaning consistently in the mean time. I will be returning to try to keep this modern/retro renovation alive.GREAT dine in experience!
First time at the kiosk for ordering. My husband wanted chili Mac so that's what I ordered and got a double meal for myself. When ordering chili Mac from the old menu you just said you wanted chili Mac. Never having had chili Mac myself I wasn't aware of what comes on it. There were places to not order extra meat or extra sauce so I put no in those areas. When our food arrived there was a container of spaghetti with nothing on it. Upon questioning this the manager was quite rude and stated that's what I ordered. Why would anyone in their right mind pay $4.99 for spaghetti. A waitress did finally bring a small bowl of meat and sauce. The burger was definitely not the juicy steak burger I remember from past experiences with SnS. Will not be returning!!
Order here today and one their card reader wouldn't accept the apple pay function even though they said it would, 2nd I order a 5 piece chicken tender and it's raw. When I called I tried to tell the girl I didn't receive a receipt she got smart and you just read me the address from the receipt like no I read it off Google because I didn't receive a receipt. Raw chicken attachment below . Nasty place with nasty attitudes.
The place has gone down hill lately. The buns aren't being heated properly so they are cold and stiff despite having tasty looking marks on the inside. So it comes to the dining room cold from the toppings and the bun. The cheese sauce is now .75 but they send the cup out half full so it is never enough to dip fries no matter what size you get.There are a few nice employees there that I've met so it is nice to come into familiar faces but the quality for a couple of months ago to now seems like two different restaurants. I never get full from the food on the $4 menu so it is a waste of money for a meal but a snack.I go back for the social hours with my friends but that's more interesting than the food. The burgers sometimes come out too thick and not done, some come out so thin and crispy you can't tell it is a double patty. Overall it's fast food so whatever can I say? Lol.
I have been to many steak n shakes over the years... some better, some worse. This location is pretty low on the list. From time my order was taken till I got my food about 15 minutes had gone by. That would have been forgivable but my fries were cold and rest of the food barely warm... and I mean that is how I got it... I went to snag a fry as I was pulling out of the parking lot and I just tossed it out the window. Don't make me wait 15+ minutes only to give me cold food. Not returning to this location again.
Drive through is your only option. We got in line with 8 cars in front of us. From then to food pick up was 45 minutes. Only 2 cars came in behind us during that time, so it didn’t seem to be a dinner rush or anything like that.Neither burger tasted right. The buns were I toasted and soggy. My burger was cold. The onion rings were so tough I couldn’t bite through them. 2 drinks and no straws. Kind of bummed I wasted a gift card on this.
