Great historical place with original bar and architecture. Our bartender, David, not only was a great guy but helped us to find fun things to do in Indianapolis.
Love the atmosphere of the Noodle. The food and service is as always, excellent.
Lou the bartender was absolutely lovely! Atmosphere was great! Drinks were fabulous! And we even got to go on a tour! Loved all the history the bar has to offer! Will definitely be back the next time we are in Indy!
This is not your typical bar food, even though this restaurant is the oldest bar in the state of Indiana. They have legitimately good food. We have enjoyed just about everything on the extensive menu. Plus, there is great ambiance, with live music regularly in the evenings. A huge bonus for a downtown restaurant is that they have there own free parking lot. If it is crowded, the restaurant can be loud, but it is a bar, so that's to be expected. If you are downtown, this spot is a must visit.
Walking in to what is considered Indy's oldest bar I didn't know what to expect. Pours were fine, staff was unfriendly and understaffed. The wings were without doubt the worst I have ever had (overly fried, tasteless). Out of the order of 7 could I could only stomach two pieces. I'll be back to try the music.
This historic site is not only famous for it's rocking blues tradition, but the architecture as well. The interior 'maze' of rooms offered cozy bars areas and a massive venue with balconies. When the Bands jams, it's impossible to not move to the enticing grooves !!The food was generous in portions and in variety. If you like the Blues, don't miss going here, it's always a good time !!
Very cool place. Oldest bar in Indiana. Need to go because the atmosphere is awesome too
We dined on a Wednesday evening. Not very busy. Service was slow and our order was incorrect. Food is average. Music was very good. Two different bands.
After arriving and sitting at the bar I asked the bartender how old the Business was as I could tell it had age on the outside he told me the business is 176 years old. No longer an Inn, you have to find another place to lay your head but you can get a absolutely delicious burger and a very wide variety of beer and almost any type of liquor you desire!Cool thing about this historic business is that they have bands almost every night of the week they play rhythm and blues, soul and classic rock ‘n roll.Looking for a place to enjoy the evening with some live music, a bite to eat, some cold drinks and not break the wallet… this is it!
It was a party all night long. It's the best fun I've had in a long time. The bad and the drinks were awesome. We bar hopped from the front to the back, and the party continued. I'm so glad they're back.
