got the pork belly tacos, brisket melt and pork tenderloin ❤️ all I can say is do yourself a favor and stop here! DELICIOUS!

Great food and friendly Salamone Brother owners.. They smoke their meats including pork, brisket and corned beef. Serve beer on tap. Great French fries. Definitely a good south side addition!

went here today sat and had a couple of beers, very nice guys, and great food. always nice to know your getting food from a place from people that actually care and love what they do. prob not the best pics i took i added the mayo on cheesesteak when i got home because i forgot to ask. ill deff be back

Ordered the pork belly sandwich. Beautiful quality. The sandwich had decent portions, great moisture and flavor. You guys are off to a great start. My wife grew up on southern bbq and I have plenty of experience with Carolina blends. You guys have done well. We were pleased!!!

Just order food for my guys at work, $175.00 worth. I ordered the BBQ salad. Ordered it with pulled pork, i've had better pulled pork from prepack at the grocery. Menu states it comes with bacon, no bacon found. Did have a slice of tomato like menu. The rest ordered sandwiches, 75% really liked, the 25% that weren't happy said soggy or missing something stated on menu.

The staff is amazing. The food is great. I can not find one fault with this place. I will have to find a new place to eat for the next 6 months while they are closed, but look forward to them coming back!

While I would still tell somebody to try it. I would say I was pretty disappointed after reading all the reviews. While the sandwich itself is pretty tasty, there is just not enough meat in it to justify the price. I’d say 1/2 of my sandwich was bread the cheese sauce was watery. I couldn’t eat the majority of my fries as they were rock hard. I was really excited about a new place right down the street from us but I’m on the fence about trying them again.

Today was my first visit to Salamone Brothers. I ordered the Cubano sandwich, which with tax ended up costing over 13 dollars. The sandwich contained at most, a half pound of meat, which means that you are literally charging almost 25 dollars a pound for roast pork and lunch meat quality ham. I can easily find restaurants that offer steak or prime rib dinners with two sides that are roughly the same price. I guess when you call your sandwiches "gourmet", that entitles you to charge 12 dollars. You also offer lunch specials that, according to your rules, must be consumed at one of your tables and cannot be "takeout". You would think that, in the middle of a pandemic, a customer would not be forced to sit in a closed room to qualify for one of your "specials", In addition, the girl running the register gave no evidence of having anything approaching an actual personality and never once smiled, nor was she wearing a mask. I will not make the mistake of ever patronizing your restaurant again.

Finally tried it after hearing about this place. The sandwiches were DELICIOUS! We had the Reuben and Texas Cheesesteak and were beyond impressed. We’ll definitely be returning VERY soon!

Steak pizzaiola, meat was tender but needed more sauce. Meat is braised in sauce but not enough on the sandwich. Fries are good.
