I was looking for something tasty, not being from Indy I wanted to try something local. This place did not disappoint! It’s bright and colorful, the decor is quite loud and even entertaining. The host was great, service was a big slow- but they were very busy. Food was great, delicious and large portions and inexpensive. Try the cheesecake pal cakes! Highly recommended if your a tourist or a local
From out of town and chose to try this place for first time wish I could give more stars!! The service, the food, the atmosphere...the list goes on!! I am a picky eater but tried my very first eggs Benedict here with the Norwegian potato cakes (Ruth's recipe) I cleaned my plate...lol! The potato cakes had zucchini and squash as well and were just amazing!! I want to find her for the recipe! The waitress was so nice and did such a great job as well...hard to find these days. Do yourself a favor and EAT LOCAL AND TRY THIS PLACE ALREADY!!!

Very quaint, very pleasant. We came at the height of brunch and still only waited about 20 minutes to be seated. I had a salmon omelette and my friend had eggs Benedict. Very delicious. The specials looked good, so I'll need to come back and try them.
Good food and great atmosphere. The only downside about this place is the parking is horrific when the shopping center is busy. I can't hold it against Ruth's Cafe. The restaurant was busy and that's great for business, but the parking situation is bad. We parked across the street and walked over. I highly recommend the chorizo gravy.
Wonderful local spot with delicious food! The art pieces throughout make for great conversation, and the staff are very welcoming.
Lots of visual clutter. Food is good, but the designated food server (not the waiter) brought the wrong food. I think he was kinda new. Generous portions. The pancakes fill the plate. Manager makes a point of engaging every patron. That's one of the great appeals of this Mom and Pop place.
5 Stars!!.... we were traveling and after a great night at Seasons 52, our morning needed exactly what Ruth’s is all about... Visually pleasing - eclectic atmosphere, unique & fresh food choices, friendly service, food presented nicely too...
My first visit to Ruth’s (we just moved to Indy from the east coast). So yummy!! I had the breakfast entree “Not Quite Old School”. Asked for corned beef hash to be well cooked - it was perfect! Deliciously crispy and moist. Darling server, such a fun atmosphere! I’ll be back!!
