Disappointing. Dry Chicken. No flavor. Greasy Shell
This place is straight gunpowder! I go every Tuesday on my way home from work and they have never disappointed me. Everything is great. I highly recommend it.
This did not seem like a very authentic place, I asked for a torta de pastor, and I am not sure what I got. There was a sauce on the meat that resembled mole, and it did not taste fresh. The green salsa they gave me was also super watered down.

I ordered the Fajita Burrrito. Nothing about the burrito tasted fresh and was incredibly bland (worth noting that I do not have Covid). Both the chicken and the rice were dry and clearly over a day old. The queso sauce tasted plastic and the tortilla was store bought. I do not understand how others are rating this restaurant so highly. You can get a better tasting, more fresh, burrito at Chipotle for less money.
Food was bland. Lacked color and flavor. One unisex bathroom. Empty restaurant was dirty.

BEST original down home Mexican food in the hood. Clean, hot, good air conditioning, very Fresh, GOOD QUALITY of food for low budget. R J's Mexican is in my top ten RECOMMENDATIONS for Indianapolis. Lots of free parking. Kid friendly even.
