great coffee and friendly place

Loved this little coffee shop! We were in visiting for our daughter’s college graduation and Rabble was recommended by our airbnb host and I am so glad. We had the breakfast burritos with the carrot salsa and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon rolls were from Amelia’s Bakery that we then visited to get some bread! Burritos were from Love Handles. The coffee was all their own and was delicious! My wife had a dandelion tea that was delightful.

This is my favorite coffee shop downtown. The lattes are excellent, the owners are very friendly and provide great service, and the pastries they carry are always amazing. I live in Fletcher Place and there are several coffee shops closer to me, but I still choose to drive to this one.

Most excellent coffee shop. I travelled to Indy with a group of middle school students. The Airbnb we stayed only had keurig…ouch. After 3 days of drinking that swill I needed a good coffee. We swung around the corner and there was rabble. Just got a regular but hot damn did it lift my spirits. The barista was super friendly and it was fun to watch him fluidly and stylistically do his coffee making thing. Highly recommend

The best espresso I have ever had. I went back the next day...would be back everyday if I was local. Really nice people here-baristas and other customers!

When Josie was around I never felt unwelcome here. She and her staff were engaging, I always enjoyed coming in to see who was working. Sometimes they would even ask to give me a drink unavailable on the menu, just because they wanted to know if I liked it. There were public events like art shows, movie nights, and a former employee had even opened up a gallery next door that would tie in to late night events where you could find all sorts of fun people you definitely wanted to meet. For 2019's NYE they threw a party and I remember we counted down in the street with sparklers & music. It was a fun hangout spot where you could go and find *something* happening. These new folks running the place don't seem to possess an ounce of the former charm I used to experience. I've come back a couple times in the last year and each time I ask myself, "Why did I do that?" My most recent visit in this once eclectic & vibrant shop was likely my most disappointing - the barista didn't make my drink the way I asked. She insisted it would be sweet enough on its own and there was no need to fulfill my request. To no one's surprise I ended up tossing it at the gas station next door due to how bitter it was. The results of my time and money spent here are infuriating to say the least...not to mention that these people have stripped every bit of character from the walls. Walking in here now is like if you turned khakis into a whole brand. No personality behind the counter or on the walls whatsoever. When y'all bought it you should have changed the name to "We're Just Here to Gentrify"

An incredible coffee experience. The cafe is cozy and quaint with plenty of space for you to sip on a drink and work or converse. Mitchell was a coffee roaster and is supremely knowledgeable about coffee. The espresso machine is probably the nicest in Indianapolis and I’d argue Rabble is the best coffee shop in central Indiana.

In all my days, I never would've thought to be given something, so completely amazing to my very own mouth. That breakfast burrito ?, was made by a God, Goddess, Deity, or Santa Clause. Simple place, with plenty of plates of deliciousness.

01-04-2022Went here today for a cafe miel. Still great quality espresso. Friendly barista behind the bar. I'm not sure what else people want in a coffee shoppe!++++++01-06-2021New ownership for a few months. It's in good hands.+++++++Cortado breve. Josie and crew are amazing.

This is a great coffee shop. The coffee was excellent (I had a vanilla caramel oatmilk latte) and crafted superbly. There was strong wifi and plenty of seating so I was able to work through the morning while I enjoyed my chocolate croissant. The pastries come from a local bakery and are a must try when you stop in!
