Last time chicken sandwich was under cooked. It was nasty. Their iced tea is nasty, order something else. This time the pickles weren't quite as crisp and fresh. Buns did not seem to have been toasted as before. I hope they arent going down hill. Have been one of my favorite when I am in Greenwood.
I had the worst experience today!!! My boyfriend gave the cashier $15 so I reached in my purse and handed him a $10 bill to complete our total, it was around $19 and a couple cents. So we handed the cashier $25 in total, while he gets our change i went to go fill up my drink, I turn around and ask him for the change he said she only gave 40 cents. I start thinking to myself that I should have more than 40 cents I still needed $5 more!! So I go to the cashier and ask her for my change she says she put the $25 there “accidentally” so I think we’ll maybe i did give her $5 and I start to realize that I did hand her $10 because why would she put my total as $25 if she says I only gave her $5!!! keep in mind why would a customer lie about giving a cashier $10 more to complete there order, even my boyfriend saw it because he’s the one who gave it to her. The manager never even bothered to ask me about the situation, she only talk to her coworker, she counted her drawer and said “yea we don’t owe you anything” probably because it’s in your coworkers pocket!! That manager needs to pay more attention to the clues on the receipt!
Giving a 5-star review solely because I would walk out of the job if customers spoke to me like they do to the employees. I’m ashamed to have witness MULTIPLE customers in the lobby be horrible to employees and loudly complain about waiting for spicy chicken, but came to a place where the chicken is fresh so you might be waiting? Especially if it’s dinner time? So sorry this place and other food industries have to deal with people like that. CUSTOMERS NEED TO DO BETTER.
I've eaten at Popeye's dozens of times in my life & the chicken is usually pretty good, but the last 3-4 times I've been severely disappointed. We've ordered one of the family meals, for our family of 5, & a half pound of shrimp as well. Each time the shrimp have been cooked til they were rock hard & they're totally inedible. This last time it took 45mins, & I'm not exaggerating at all bcuz I was keeping track of the time on my phone, for our food to be ready!!! Yes you heard that correctly.. 45 effing mins!! And after waiting that long the shrimp were so dam hard we couldn't even eat them. We'll never go back... sadly
The #1 fried Chicken sandwich ? is definitely worth the wait and just might be better than chik fil a.....never thought I'd ever say that.....love the sides also
Went to the drive thru, only one car ahead of me,, after 18 minutes never got waited on.. We went inside. 6 employees behind the counter.. waited another 10 minutes and never got waited on.. Staff only spoke as we stated we will go somewhere else .. We have waited there longer normal in the past also. Staff was all very young. If there was a manager on duty they were not apparent.
Staff were SUPER friendly and helpful! There is a young lady that was working the counter. She was so nice , organized, and seemed like she really enjoys her job and the rest of the crew seemed to work as a family with her. Not mentioning her Name for safety. Me and my sister went and picked up food for the family and it was a pleasant experience! ☺ we will for sure be back!
We were coming home from Brownstown,riding motorcycles in the rain from Edinburgh. We pulled in Popeyes right as they were closing the dining room. They let us in and let us order. Above and beyond and the chicken was good too. This was the first time my wife had ridden her bike in rain that far on the interstate, so needless to say she was ready to stop and really appreciated that they let us on so close to closing time.
If I could give this location negative Stars I absolutely would their customer service is by far some of the worst I've ever dealt with in my entire life. Yes I understand I am a door Dasher but the orders for Popeyes customer. I'm also fully aware that Staffing is an issue pretty much everywhere. But that does not excuse rudeness whatsoever. As many times as I possibly can I will make sure that no one that I know of will ever come to this Popeyes as long as possible. Management needs to do better trained their employees better make sure you're prepared for an evening R Us instead of saying well there's 45 pieces of chicken ahead of you so we'll get it out to you whenever we can is what I was told.
I usually get spicy chicken sandwich and they gave me a regular instead. Lol I don’t know if they really think I woudnt notice. But they are starting to go down hill.
