Smh!!!! I ordered a spicy chicken combo with an additional spicy chicken sandwich for my son, and a 3 piece mild combo with beans and rice for my self. I got my son's food and our drinks, and then the lady at the window told us to have a good night. I gave her my reciept, and was told to pull up. A young man came and brought a bag out to me, and we left. I should've checked the bag, because there were only 5 pieces of chicken in the box. They had my actual RECEIPT and still couldn't get the order right. They even put the receipt back in the bag. I can't....
it's always a hit or miss at this place. one day maybe good hot fresh chicken with no wait, some days is long wait with old chicken
I've gone to this particular Popeyes on East Washington Street about four times now and I used to go to the one on 38th and Keystone and the one in Castleton and the one on 71st and Michigan but this one is the best. Their food is always fresh. And you can tell that the manager runs that crew well. They are polite, they don't get an attitude when there is the slightest mistake, they simply fix it with no excuses.
What's the point of complaining since I have the same story as everyone else does, and the manager/owner doesn't seem to respond or care...but I'll add my story anyways. Went to the E. Washington location today 6/24/22. Ordered chicken..and specifically said NO WINGS...which I was charged extra for...no problem....I expected this.i do it all the time..that's the way it is. I also Ordered Cole slaw as well. Get home...box full of wings and no slaw. So I ended up paying for things I never received. my family is hungry and we just ate what we were given. Oh, and the pull over to the side and park and wait for us to mess up your order is my favorite part. Why bother to ask people what they want if you are going to give them whatever you feel like giving them.
Stop here on our way from Chicago. Service sucked really bad. No one wanted to wait on us. We didn't get everything we ordered then had to wait 30 min back in line to get someone to help us to get the food we didn't get in the 1st place. Service sucks
Well I stood for awhile watching crew in back talking I said hello and she came up. The coleslaw was orange and yucky. The chicken was good. But I had to go up and get napkins. And a lid for my cup. Only thing out was straws. Tables dirty floor dirty . No one even checked dining room. Bathroom was a mess. For almost $10 for a piece of chicken a hard biscuit spoiled coleslaw and a drink ! Wiped off my own table . It was just too hot out to eat outside
This evening, waited 10 minutes just to be acknowledged. The acknowledgement came as we were walking out of the store instead, and that was in the form of being yelled at. Yes, I saw that it was busy, yes I saw there was an order being fulfilled to a customer in the store. Just tell me you saw me, you will take care of me when you are finished, but don't just ignore me and expect me to take it. Then yell at me because I was fed up with being ignored.
Personally I don't like Popeyes Chicken it's too hot but boy they're chicken nuggets are the bomb... the best
Terrible location, with terrible staff, Food is good IF you get to the point they will take your order.Do not come here thinking you will get a quick meal, be ready to wait 35 minutes to an hour. Staff will be rude and act like they are doing you the biggest favor in doing their jobs. They actively try to get people to leave, and get out of line.I have had multiple bad experiences at this location but have given them multiple chances as they are close to home. They handle one order at a time, they cannot multitask to save their lives, and this is true in the drive thru or inside. But for the worst experience head inside where you can actively see them roll their eyes and sigh at you that you want to order food from the place that pays them.They are not short staffed there are dozens of people in the back on their phones, gossiping, ignoring beeping equipment, ignoring customers, and complaining as loudly as they can to make sure that the customers are included on their conversations.I am willing to wait for good food, but this place is ridiculous. I don't even expect a smile with my food... but come on, how hard is it to have a person taking orders, a runner, a person assembling orders... Very inefficient, poor management.
Avoid this location. Terrible customer service, rude employees, long wait for simple items.They stop the entire store after taking a single order and walk away to complete order. They can only handle one order at a time. This includes if they have to drop fries, they wait for the entire cooking process to complete order before taking another order. No they were not short handed there were over ten employees running around. Very inefficient store.They seem to want to take it slow so people give up and leave so they don’t have to take your order.On top of it, they are rude during the entire process.
