It's an absolute crime what the current owner has done to this place. The AC was broken with zero air movement. It felt like it was 100 plus degrees.Draft beer was warm and flatTenderloin tasted like month old fryer oil.Bartenders acted over worked and non appreciated.Shame. This place used to rock.

To celebrate National Onion Ring Day I headed to The Pawn Shop Pub in Broad Ripple. I asked for suggestions and this was the closest to where I needed to go today. I had a friend meet me for lunch. This is her go to place. She brought me beer cheese soup from there for lunch this week and it was good. Today I ordered the breaded tenderloin and the coleslaw. We ordered a plate of onion rings to share. When the food arrived the onion rings were huge and they are served with a side of COCKTAIL SAUCE.The tenderloin and the onion rings had the same breading. As you can see I opted out of a bun which I normally do when I eat a tenderloin and get pickle and onion on the side. The tenderloin was the perfect thickness. Juicy and delicious. I was excited to jump into the onion rings and I wasn’t disappointed. They were cooked all the way through with the onion not being slimy or stringy. The breading had a great crunch and that cocktail sauce. However did that is a genius. I couldn’t stop eating them.I just drank water but my friend had a Bloody Mary. She said it was spicy. They have a full bar. This isn’t a fancy place, just a little neighborhood bar in what looks to be like an old Long John Silvers building. Last note the coleslaw was just a basic one. Nothing exciting. My friend also got the BLT which she enjoyed. What a great place to celebrate National Onion Ring Day. I’d say it was a success! To see more reviews join me on Instagram and Facebook at Jennifeasts.

Friendly atmosphere, good grub great price

Great breaded tenderloin. Good thickness and tasty breading. Onion rings were very large with a little to much breading for me. Tasted great though.

Participated in a Cornhole Tourney two weekends ago and unbeknownst to me, it was here. I've passed this pub all of my adult life and never once have I stopped. I guess I can thank the Cornhole Tourney for us meeting. Ha! I ordered a Pineapple margarita, spinach potato skins and chicken tenders. Let me just say, all you need is one margarita!!??? When I want a cocktail, I know where to go!!! The hand breaded chicken tenders were some of the best I've had!!! And the housemade Ranch was oh so good!!! The spinach potato skins were different and pretty good. I would have liked a bit more seasoning, but they were good and I would order them again. I look forward to returning and trying more items on the menu. There were several items that caught my attention.

Incredible sandwich experience. The breaded tenderloin is a literal lesson in sandwiches

Great food and lots of it

By far the best Tenderloin and Mushrooms and Onion Rings I have had in years. I had to drive a while to get there but it was worth it. Friendly staff great food.

My 1st there and it won't be my last. The waitress was very generous, polite, on time and courteous also pretty. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was wonderful and I felt great! Come all and check this place out

Moved into the area and decided to stop in. I had the Italian pork tenderloin (not something you find in our homestate of Minnesota) and hubby had fish & chips (tough to compare with Wisconsin Friday night fish fry). We loved our entrees (great batter). Next time will skip the fries and try something different. Drinks were a strong pour, service quick & friendly, atmosphere cozy & inviting. Might be our new favorite place to pop in.Great job!
