I had the shrimp & mashed potatoes & salad it was SO good . I also tried the salmon & the hamburger it was definitely good . I will eat there again .

This meal was absolutely delicious! Dexter is the chef extraordinaire! Had a cheeseburger with bacon and fries. The burger was perfectly cooked, tender, juicy and delicious to the last bite. Toni (one of the owners) was our server and she did an awesome job! Didn't miss one beat! I saw some breakfast dishes come out to other customers that made me hungry and I just ate a cheeseburger! Looking forward to going back for breakfast. Realizing now I should have taken a picture of my food.
Breakfast tacos and fried potatoes with onion, biscuits and sausage gravy with poached eggs. Seriously the best biscuits and gravy we have ever eaten. The breakfast tacos and fried potatoes superb. Service was excellent-thanks Toni. It is not a place to pop in and out quickly as Chef Dan makes everything from scratch and made to order. If you are in a time crunch call ahead for carry out. We will definitely be back!
While the location may be unassuming, don't be fooled! This place was delicious! Portion sizes were great, the staff was super friendly, and the cheesecake was to die for! Highly recommended and can't wait to go back and try out more of the menu!
Absolutely THE Best biscuits and gravy that I have ever eaten! Perfect seasoned gravy, biscuits had a buttery/crunchy exterior and moist flavorful inside. My poached eggs were done exactly to my liking. The portions were more than I could consume at one sitting.Dex and Toni, the owners, are delightful to work with, both personally and professionally. Don't expect near immediate delivery; however, the wait is more than worth it - everything is made from scratch and made to order. It's my honor to share this review about a couple who are obviously living out their passion in their work, and I immensely enjoyed their efforts.This was our first visit; I guarantee that it won't be our last . . . I can't wait to explore the dinner menu!
I have eaten at a Michelin starred restaurant; I've had food prepared by a chef who won the James Beard award. Believe me when I say this little hole-in-the-wall place on 10th Street by the Emerson with repurposed Taco Bell chairs is serving up some of the best, hands down most delicious fine dining I have ever eaten. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The best burgers of your life, parmesan encrusted grouper, filet mignon, giant cheesecake. All of it excellent. I have died and gone to food heaven. RIP me.THANK YOU to chefs Dex and Toni!
If you haven't been you are seriously missing out on the best Breakfast in the city.Breakfast bowl with bacon and eggs, dairy free, was so full of flavor and savory ingredients. First restaurant to ask me if I wanted something extra in the bowl since I didn't get the cheese, sour cream and cilantro dressing. The grits were worth the trip alone. My husband cleaned his plate of the chicken breakfast biscuit with potatoes. We look forward to trying the rest of the menu and returning for dinner.The employees made us feel like we were part of the family. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Got to tell the chef how amazing his food was before we left.
Just had an extremely tasty breakfast eating in at Open Kitchen at 10th and Drexel. Best biscuits and gravy I have ever had at a restaurant. Slightly spicy-Huge portions everything homemade. The place is very small with 2 four tops and 3 or 4 two tops. It took quite a while to get the food because they make everything fresh but it was well worth it! They do carry out as well as Grub Hub and Door Dash. They also have lunch and dinner which I can’t wait to try.
