What a diamond in the rough. Never thought weâd have such a great experience. The food and service was as good as it can get. Friendly staff and a great menu. We had a few courses and each was better than the next. Definitely will be back again and again
Oakley's is a northside gem. The kitchen is very creative and that is a vast understatement. The dishes have several flavors blended beautifully, look great, and are always new (but luckily we get to still get the lobster waffles!) The subtitle could be pork done ten thousand beautiful ways. The staff is friendly and attentive. The wine list has some French choices for the holdouts like me who refuse to subscribe to new world fruitiness (more earthy wines would be great). The indoor seating is excellent, with many booths and nice tables in the modern, no-tablecloths mentality. Outdoors suffers from the stripmall location and the occasional noise on 86th street but is still very well done.

We have eaten at Oakley's many times, having followed Steve Oakley from a previous restaurant. The menu is always interesting, including great cocktails. We'll be there again in the future.
