Never before in my life have I ever written a review for a restaurant, or anyplace for that matter. However, the service provided to me and my friends at Northside Kitchenette was so unique and splendid that I felt it my obligation to write of the event.First a foremost the food is amazing. I personally loved my breakfast sandwich in which I was able to substitute Scramby Eggs for the usual over easy. Their in-house chocolate milk was the finest concoction of chocolate to milk ratio I have ever had the pleasure of partaking in the digestion of.More than anything else, our server Leann was an absolute treasure. When I said, "Can I ask a very childish question?" Her immediate response was, "You want chocolate milk?" The sort of intuition is only seen in top tier servers in the brunch industry. When our food came, I jokingly said that "I was told my meal came with a toy." She responded by providing me with a toy that had been left behind in the lost and found. Truly, not only a professional server but a comedienne the likes of which have never been seen before. In all seriousness she provided the perfect ratio of excellent service and friendly banter that makes a brunch so personal.Leann, should you ever see this review. I want you to know that if you ever need anything in the future, I will gladly be of assistance. Need a reference on a job application? I will sing your praises. Need a recommendation on where to stay on an out of state/country trip? I will personally be your travel advisor. Running late to work? I will grab a servers book and imitate your wonderful service to the best of my abilities. To summarize, I would give my life for Northside Kitchenette. Reasonable prices for amazing food. Made my College Roommate Reunion a memorable experience.Atmosphere: Four stars, too much white.

Just, wow! Amazing breakfast! My friend and I share french toast, biscuits and gravy, and the cheesy bacon omlete with potatoes. Everything was so flavorful! Definitely one of the best breakfast places in Indy.

Whew!!! Food was amazing! Service was amazing! Mimosas were AMAZING! Definitely going back SOON!!???

We tried this place today with zero expectations. It was fabulous. The biscuits and gravy tasted great! (Rare to find). The cinnamon roll was good and the icing is perfect if you don't like super sugary icing like me. My only complaint was the potatoes were not crispy, which is how I prefer mine. Still great though!

excellent eggs and French toast. Staff are so friendly, great vibe.

First time here. The place looks so cute. I got take out. The service was great. The two ladies in front were very customer service oriented! I was not impressed with the food. And I did not get my side of avocado! Not a place I’ll go back to for breakfast. Also I ordered the cinnamon roll! All I really tasted was the icing on top which was very good! The bread was thick not a good thick. Not cinnamon like at all to me!

I thought the breakfast menu lacked some of the corner stone items. Howebertthe food wss great and the servers/entire staff wss very attentive. Not a strip mall breakfast kind of guy usually, but i think they did a great job using their space to bring in light and energy.Solid funk playlist too!

The food was good. The servers were lovely. The atmosphere was terrible. We were seated next to three semi-wealthy white women who talked loudly about their wealth, their expensive homes, and the various resorts they’ve gone to during our entire meal. When they were seated next to us (with our two year old) they looked over at our child and said, “this might be a mistake” loud enough for us to hear. They were entitled, ignorant, obnoxious, and made it certain that we will never be back.

This is hands down the best breakfast experience overall that I've had while living in Indy. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great- modern and artsy. The food was even better! Quick and great service and the prices were doable. I will definitely be making this my go-to breakfast spot!

Great costumer service! Alex was great! Food and price, average. Not a fan of the cinnamon roll. Depending on the day I imagine this place can be busy. Parking limited. The Nook by Northside and Northside social is in same area in which I plan to try in the near future. My one con is there’s only one unisex restroom.
