Celebrated my birthday there. Amazing dinner! Service was prompt and friendly. Sommelier on staff if you have questions on their all Italian wine list. Pacing was great. The food was well prepared. Tiramisu is made in house and was my favorite ever!Located in the Alexader Hotel... a great find! We'll be back.
We had a great dinner at Nesso! We started with Aperol Spritz's which were delicious, as well as the arancini appetizer and the beet salad - so good! We also got the focaccia which was absolutely delicious! We shared the short rib and the cacio e pepe for entrees. We really liked the short rib and the pasta was good, but we'd probably try something different next time. The restaurant had a cool vibe and we had fantastic service! We will be back!
CRG's tribute to Italian was a pre-pandemic favorite for us. Fortunately, they've come back as strong as we remembered. While all the noodles are made in house, I've felt the strongest showings have come from the stuffed pastas: The lobster ravioli was a previous highlight and more recently the tortellaci and agnolotti stole the show.
Staff was VERY friendly and it is march madness games in town so i didn't know what to expect. Food was excellent! Try the burrata bread, you will not be disappointed!
This place runs like a well oiled machine. The decor is urban with a pleasing color scheme not bright or garish. Arriving a few minutes before our reservation we only waited one minute for our table. The service was quick and immaculate. The apps were quick hot and tasty and the entree's followed as soon as we finished the apps. Fantastically delicious and piping hot the entree's were sublime and the dessert was magnificent. Do yourselves a favor and eat here A+, and I don't give those out easy.
Started with the meatballs and bread... delicious. Main course was the Filet which was perfectly prepared with broccolinis. Most remarkable was the knowledgeable, courteous staff who guided me through my experience with intuitive, skillfully educated choices and wine pairings. Overall, this was a memorable and lively experience.
My wife and son have been raving about this place, and I've been looking forward to experiencing its wonder myself. First, the good: this kitchen obviously knows its stuff! Arancini appetizer was heaven, pork iberico was out-of-this-world, and my son's pasta was a wonder... Everything arrived piping hot from the kitchen, and every dish would make me justifiably want to return!! Now, the not-so-good: greeting at table was strange enough to make me ask my son if he picked up on the same (negative!) vibe. He already had. Perhaps 'Maria' was simply having an off-night. If so, I'm sorry and wish her well. If not, then five trips past our table to serve other tables and dishes left on the table for fifteen minutes is what she found acceptable for our table tonight. Following a trip to the bar to procure one of their wonderful cocktails, the manager became involved and did a fantastic job of smoothing things over...until, he, too, disappeared and left us to finish the evening with Maria, who was now well-aware that we were very unhappy. AWKWARD! (PS: unrequested free dessert doesn't magically fix everything, and it's not why I voiced my concerns) I'll try them again, because the quality of the food was FANTASTIC! However, if this same server was my only choice, I would dine elsewhere.
Fantastic service at the bar. Food included Scallops and Ravioli, both outstanding! Good bottle of wine. All made for a wonderful meal.
