Such a cool look for a restaurant. Lots of decor, great craft food and drinks, and live entertainment and holiday events.
This place has so much potential… the atmosphere and aesthetic were on point, and the service was great. However, the food is terrible and over-priced for the quality. For example, I ordered a sandwich that was supposed to have “cheddar cheese” on it. Instead, they cut a slice from a block of velveeta. That is not cheddar! My wife got the cod and it had no flavor and no grill marks. I got the French onion soup and the top was not browned at all and the bread in it had a bad flavor. She also got a salad and said the dressings were not good. The only redeeming qualities regarding food were the cocktails and the sugar cream pie. Seriously, this place has so much potential. To the manager: if you want your business to pick up, get a new head chef and use better ingredients!! An otherwise nice restaurant like this should not be cutting corners on the quality of its ingredients. People can tell the difference, and we have plenty of other options! ?♀️
do not order. 20$ for less than a portion size of food. no “sun dried” tomatoes nor “garlic parmesan crostinis”. It literally came with white american bread sliced in half and cherry tomatoes. Absolutely not what i ordered. waste of money.
We ended up only having the appetizer then leaving. The appetizer was really good but they were out of a lot of things. Including each of the drinks we wanted as well as each of the entrees we wanted. We decided we were better off getting what we actually wanted someplace else. We will give them another chance at a later date. It's just hard to believe they would be out of so many items on a Friday evening. Oh well.
Hostess was either on some mind altering drug or just clueless and lazy. People waiting in front of us were treated very rudely. Our waitress, Cindy, was great. I ordered a crusted, baked penne and the photo is what I received. It wasn’t baked, it wasn’t penne, and it wasn’t hot. As we left, the manager was sitting with someone, even though they were severely understaffed. Disappointing.
Thank you Mel, Matt, Austin, and the rest of the staff at Murphy’s Craft House for making my husband’s surprise 50th birthday party absolutely spectacular! We had over 50 people and everyone raved about the food, service, and atmosphere! We were fortunate to have amazing weather and enjoyed the gorgeous patio. Thanks for helping to make this such a fun night!
Really nice comfortable atmosphere. Super service. Amazing pretzels. Very good salmon. The only knock, is that they were out of many of their standard menu items.
The bartender is a big burly guy and he was singing like he was on the karaoke machine, it's got a great local vibe and the food was exceptional. Took a little longer than I anticipated but it was worth the wait. I got the hot braker Pizza..Not a huge beer selection, but good options. Did not partake in the whiskey but there was a substantial variety, probably a hundred different bottles.
The only thing worse than the service (it took over ten minutes before anybody acknowledged us at the bar) was the drinks. Three out of the four of us thought our drinks were terrible; at a 75% rate we decided just choking down what we got was the lesser of the evils. The best part was the bathroom where I would rather slam my dick in the door than order another drink from that garbage-ass turd of an establishment.
Went here last week for my birthday. most amazing chop steak I have ever had. will definitely be back!!
