I was visiting from out of town for a concert. I stopped in for a quick bit to eat. My steaks was delicious and the service was fantastic.
As usual Murphy's is the best and Dave's piano playing is always a plus on Wednesdays! Try the Kioki coffee after dinner. You won't be disappointed. Each time we go there it is a unique experience!! If I could give it 10 stars I would!!! Tried the "Stew" tonight and it was great! Once again Dave stepped it up and sang happy birthday to my gal! We even danced to "as time goes by". What a great time!!! Once again Murphy's has given us a wonderful experience! Dave's piano is as good as it gets. The food is superb and the drinks are just right.
The steak was very tender, but my wife had to send hers back for a little more time on the grill. Her sides were also messed up but they made up for it. It’s a little pricey still even for the special.
First time actually ever going there and I have to say it's someplace I would go back and the food was really good nice people
Ya know, I was a lil worried when I walked into Murphy's BUT this was some GOOD FOOD!! There's no drink menu, it's awful dim, and dare I say a little dated but none of that matters when you have one of their burgers!!!We got an appetizer, main course, dessert, and a cocktail all for $100 roughly. Anyone who lives in Indianapolis knows that that is a killer deal!I will definitely be back! Good job!Oh yeah... My server was WONDERFUL. I can't remember her name but she was great.
We go here for lunch a few times a week and the food is always very good. The service is also very quick and attentive. Makes it an easy place to get quick meal with people who remember you and treat you well.
The waiter was very attentive from the time we walked in the door. He was polite and courteous. We didn't have to ask for one refill as he was on it! We'll be back and we will ask for him specifically!
Good food! Slow service - as we all expect at this time. Table conversation can be difficult when band is playing. Crowd is generally 60+ in age. Bar islively. If I lived closer I would go more often.
Sat in the bar at 610 on a Monday. By 705 still hadn’t taken our order. And that was after waiting 15 mins to put our drink order in. Everyone around us seemed to be a regular and the bartender had no issue chatting it up with every other table. On top of that Drinks were weak. Can’t comment on the food but based on how long we would have waited it couldn’t be good. Won’t be going back
Service good. Sadly though at least half of our meals came out seriously overcooked. Maybe it's just covid days, don't know. But we've eaten here twice recently and had it happen both times - so for now we are going to wait awhile before going back. Hopefully things will level off for them.
