MJ's Backyard BBQ is the spot! Best BBQ lunch I've had in Indianapolis. The portions for today's special were HUGE, Delicious, and for the $ I don't think you can beat this BBQ, WOW. So much sauce I had to wash my hands twice and the Chicken was the bomb. I'll be back as much as possible on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Thanks Matt, great food and great Customer Service, I'll be back and spread the word!
The food is some of if not the best BBQ in Indian and thats real..I'm not from here so I'm bias I've had king ribs and the others but this hands down is the best?

I like to help black businesses as much as I can ,this one establishment is different especially in the tase category my sides were on point . The meats are tender . I personally went two day in a row that how satisfied I was .
I really enjoy the food it's that southern comfort food that melts in your mouth. Taste just like your family invited you over for a backyard BBQ the food is made with love.

This is an OUTSTANDING family owned business. If you haven't tried them, you are truly missing out on a magical experience. We had them cater out wedding reception, they brought their smoker. Set up, and serve 75 people. The customer service we received during our event, was second to non. We unfortunately didn't take many photos of the food because we ate it as fast as they could serve it! We had halfed chickens, Rib tips, pulled pork as the mains. The only meat that was left at the end was half a tray of chicken. For sides, we had baked Mac and cheese, loaded potato salad (which my husband states was made by God himself), and some scrumptious Cole slaw. Honestly for the price, I feel like WE cheated them. It was so good. If you have a moment to stop in and try them, you won't be disappointed.
My wife and I tried their food today. It was fantastic! I personally loved the half chicken and loaded potato salad! Totally get it!
We recently used them for catering and it was absolutely fantastic, some of the best smoked chicken wings I've had. We will definitely be using their catering service again. Highly recommended!
My favorite place for baby back ribs! And the cheesecake is amazing.
