The best!!!It is the probably the best Indian food you can get here in Indy at a very reasonable price. Satisfied in terms of both quality and quantity. Would come again to treat my friends.
This is the best food on this side of town. The place is immaculately clean and the help is pleasant. The decor is warm and pretty. It's not real loud, either. I will be back.
Wonderful food and great customer service and friendly staff I would highly recommend this place to anyone I will difently be back.
I tried the Tandoori Legs and Entree 4 from the buffet. It was very delicious. I really love the Kheer ( Rice Pudding ). They have a very nice Ambience restaurant and nice beer selection.
The food was pretty good, however, I probably won't return. There are much better options nearby to choose from.My main complaint is that when I ordered my food spicy, they looked at me and said, "Oh.. Americans don't usually like spicy. Maybe you should get medium instead." I laughed and said, "No. It's fine. I eat spicy food all the time. I want spicy." They said, "Okay" and proceeded to make our order. Now, let me preface, my wife is the type of person who finds ketchup a little spicy. She has a pretty low threshold overall. Sometimes I can't tell if something that says, "Spicy" is actually spicy or not so I let her try it to gauge it for me. She then affirms whether or not what I'm eating is actually spicy. She ordered hers mild and they obliged. When we got our order, I noted that the there wasn't a lot of food in the bag considering we had just spent ~$45. I figured this place was probably just a little more costly and the food quality might reflect that.Upon arriving at home and beginning our meal, I noted that there was almost no spice to my food at all. I asked my wife to try it to confirm my suspicion. She agreed. It simply wasn't spicy. Fortunately, I had some sriracha to douse it with, but, I don't go to an Indian place and order 'spicy' so I can bring it home and throw hot sauce on it.Aside from that, the food had good flavor. Neither the quantity nor the quality wasn't really befitting a $17 entree and our rice definitely seemed a bit mushy/overcooked. Perhaps it was instant rice? It wasn't bad, just very very mediocre. All in all, I'd go here again if it were the only place to get a good curry or tikka masala in the area but it's not. There are much cheaper and much better options very close by.TL;DR - Food was okay, servings were small, refused to make my food spicy because, "Americans don't like spicy"
The place and ambience is good.Very low on staff .Serving water also takes lot of time, usually which is the first thing even before menu.Food has lot of scope of development.I had Manchurian it was nowhere close to taste
The restaurant was nice, clean, quick, and SUPER friendly. I'm so glad to have good Indian cuisine closer to home.
I really like the welcoming beauty of the place, its warm colors remind me of home. The staff was ecstatic since I was the first one in today, I came in at a good time because usually around 7 it gets busy?. Their menu had a good variety of dishes, I really like their Northern style Briyani with the raita. I recommend getting the mixed grill if you’re coming and sharing with your friends! Although it’s a really good Idea to call beforehand to place that kind of order so it’ll be hot and ready when you get there!
i went to this restaurant today for the first time, (never having tried Indian food) and i LOVED it, the service was extremely nice and they really seemed like they wanted everyone to enjoy their time at the restaurant. i had some sort of chicken in a red sauce and i couldn’t get enough of it, along w the bread (i think it’s called naan?) the food was just super amazing. i definitely recommend the mela if you’re looking for something different and extremely tasty!
First time bin this restaurantService & Food was pathetic..Overall Experience was really bad.Do not recommend.
