The service could have definitely been better. The girl who took our order kept making faces as if she definitely would rather be somewhere else. The manager wasn't very friendly, she was present and didn't greet anyone or even smile back when I tried to be cordial and smile at her. They gave me a bowl of "fresh" fruit that had brown pineapple chunks and mushy honeydew melon chunks in it.And when I tried to notify the girl literally pretending to sweep the lobby floor, she acted like it was no big deal they are serving bad food to people. And yes she was pretending to sweep because their lobby floor had little pieces of trash and food around every table which is disgusting. And they put some type of lettuce that had been being eaten by a bug before it was put on my sandwich. Health department needs to really pay them a visit. Seriously done with this location because they can't seem to get it together most especially for what they charge for their food. Super disappointed too because I love McAllister's. Gotta do better!! I worked for another location 2 hrs south of here and the manager of that store would lose her mind because this is way below standards for this restaurant.
I'm all about this place. The choose 2 is my basic. If I want more, I can just upgrade soup to a bowl. It's totally worth it to get the tea pass if you go here 3x/month. I also get the spud max and take off the items I don't want. You can have any kind of potato you want that way. Don't be afraid to go up to the counter and get a refill; not all the McAlister's locations walk around and ask, or not when they're slammed at least.
Probably won't be back.When I lived here full time we always went to McAllister. Love the tes for sure I always get pick 2 1/2 sandwich and Bowl of soup, now you only get a cup unless you want to pay 1.49 for the bowl. That just makes your affordable lunch not affordable.I know things are bad right now. But to many places to eat for less.That is just my opinion,
Did a delivery catering order for my daughter's Eagle Scout Court of Honor this past weekend and was very happy with the whole process. Angie did a great job getting us a variety of sandwich/wrap platters to fit everyone's pallette. Fruit and veggie tray were fresh and potato salad and chips were great as well! I would recommend calling the store to place your catering orders vs ordering them online. I feel we got a better mix doing it that way versus if I just placed the order myself online. I will definitely be going this route again for my next catering needs!
I think we just went in at a weird time. The girl at the register was more interested I'm talking than working at the time. Talking about going salary to a coworker she definitely has a crush on. Talking up a customer for several minutes about who knows what, I wasn't trying to be nosey that time. She talked the entire time from when we walked in till we left.Food was good as always and staff is always friendly, she just had other stuff going on too.
The food was excellent. I had the steak and gorgonzola salad. I loved it. My boyfriend had the Angus beef spud. It was huge but a bit dry. The worst part was the loud inappropriate conversation of kitchen staff.
Went in placed an order and workers in the back yelling no more spuds no tomatoes and I was waiting for 2 salads… they lady next to me had been waiting 35 minutes already people walking up from dining in and requested for the spud she had been waiting on and the manager said I’m sorry but we have substitute your item….A lot of workers, nothing being completed…DoorDash was waiting, still taking salad orders never stating they were out of tomatoes, just a big mess.. I requested my $43 refund and walked out.. Use to be my favorite place…went to subway next door, food was great!
Had grilled chicken sandwich. Chicken was a lot on the skimpy side. It was small and thin sliced. Potato salad was delicious.
We stopped last minute, starving. The food was good. Service was a bit iffy as they were short-handed & the table server was upset that she was only 1 running food out to tables & busing dirty tables. It was also totally freezing in there, no one was taking their coat off.
I love there jalapeño crunch sandwich ? and there delicious soups and salads There customer service was super awesome they always make me happy when I eat there
