Marabou Lakay Restaurant fe bon manje! Marabou Lakay is a restaurant that bring all the Haitian dishes and some other Caribbean flavors to your plate all the way here in Indianapolis. I am traveling to Indiana, I was looking for a Caribbean restaurant on google and then I saw Marabou so I decided to check it out. Where I go, it is always a preference for me to go to a Caribbean restaurant to eat. I ordered Lalo and crab with a side red beans rice. The food was delightful, I ate all of it and for a quick moment I thought I was in Haiti that is how tasty the food was. I was proud and honored to eat at Marabou Lakay!
Negative! The owner had to come out and greet us, as the young lady right at the door didn't utter a word, nor did she tell us the kitchen was even closed. Smh first impressions are huge for me when I'm breaking my bread with you. Nah I'm good.

First time eating Haitian food, and I was very pleased. My coworker and I shared the Mixed Vegetables meal and the Goat Stew. She got white rice, I got rice and beans, and we both got fried plaintains. was surprised to discover the mixed vegetable entree was mostly beef and had a crab perched on top but since neither of us are vegetarian, it did not bother us a bit. It was delicious, as was the goat stew. Both had a bit of spice, but it was flavorful, not overpowering. The slaw was a bit spicy for me, but she LOVED it. We will definitely be back!
We had the fried chicken and fried fish… absolutely delicious! The chicken was falling off the bones and the fish batter has some really nice flavor. This was our first time trying Haitian food and it did not disappoint. Definitely recommend!

Disappointed. Hard to reach. Gave me the wrong food. Wont take orders over the phone. Very Disappointed people. Please do better. You have the potential.
I ordered a « LAMBI » with « Diri-djondjon » it was delightfully delicious. The service was great, the atmosphere is nice and the ambiance is a plus.
