Dined in today with the wife. She had a New York strip steak with baked sweet potato and Mexican street corn. I had cube steak mashed potatoes with mushroom add on. 2 appetizers were ordered the wild west shrimp and spicy chicken bites. Service was spot on and great. Cube steak not my favorite here, almost sent it back that’s just not my style. The gravy was thick as molasses, not to my liking. Other than that no complaints.
My fiance and I waited in the bar on our steak and chicken dinners that we found at home were absolutely were perfect as always. My only suggestion on food would be that they maybe add a little butter to the baked potato before it is sent to go because it gets a little hard with the toppings on the side. But they give you plenty of those toppings. While waiting in the bar we had drinks which were superb from a nice bartender. Then a waitress came and took our to go order who was walking around. That unfortunately made us obligated to tip twice. (And for those of you still being cheap tipping is a minimum of 22%, if you can't afford it don't go out. This is how the staff feed their families.) So all in all a great experience. With just a few improvements could have been perfect. Wasn't enough to stop us from going back. All in all great job.
Food was great. My server repeatedly brought the wrong drinks and food to my table then took them to where they were supposed to go even after I took a drink of one of the beverages. Then he brought me three different bills (one of them twice) for a total of four trips. It wasn't just the server, the manager got into a cussing match when someone got mad for waiting on their take out food for over an hour.
We went there thursday evening (6/30/2022). The hostess was not nice at all. She looked down and had a frown on her face. We told her how many people we had because she wouldn't ask. It was very awkward. She walked off never saying a word and we didn't know if we were to follow her to a table. I said thank you to her but she just looked at me. We all thought maybe she had a tragedy in her family and didn't want to be there. My mother teared up because she felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave. We usually go there for lunch and have a wonderful experience. At least the food was great which saved the experience.
My 12oz. ribeye barely needed a knife. Delicious, cooked exactly how I ordered. The rest of my family's food was also delicious. The service is hit and miss but the past 2 visits have been big hits. Both servers were prompt and all food was properly prepared.
5/13/22 This was the worst service I have ever hadThe manager was useless even after telling him we never got my lobster or any refills on drinksHe said what do you want me to do !! The waitress put our check down said sorry and walked away. I will never go to this Longhorn again. It was a special night as my daughter is going home tomorrow and just wanted to take her for a nice dinner. Unfortunately this was not the case thanks to a lousy waitress and a manager who just does does care.I
Everything was great hospitality was awesome, clean, waitress was helpful food was good thank you LongHorn for great lunch ... Hope to visit again
Always the perfect temps here. Never had a poorly cooked steak here. The cooks/food are consistent. That much we can count on.
We had the peppered steak salads and grilled chicken salad. They were refreshing and cooked perfectly, perhaps a little on the salty side but still good. The Wild West shrimp appetizer was scrumptious as well. The restaurant wasn't crowded. There were no mandatory to wear a mask and no social distancing. Waiter could've been more attentive to us by offering more water/drinks and also didn't try to upsell their food items.
We were able to get in with no wait. I had the renegade sirloin and my wife had the parmesan crusted chicken. Both entrees were delicious. Really liked the atmosphere as well, music was low enough that you didn't have to try to talk over it. Very relaxing. Will definitely go back.
