The best darn donuts ever. My husband didn't want a birthday cake for his birthday. He wanted Long's glazed yeast. Woke him up singing happy birthday at 6am. Just so he could have a warm Sugarland ( glazed yeast donut) in his mouth. Love their powered yeast also. All there goodies are good.
Obviously an Indy staple! . . . Last week I had to order six dozens for a meeting at work . . . LONG'S CAME THROUGH WITHOUT A HITCH! The kind woman who answered the phone (I called Wed. for a Friday pickup) was courteous, efficient and knew how to communicate. When I picked the order up Friday, everything was correct and ready to go. My guys devoured the donuts within two hours...I'll definitely be back for my big orders.
This place has been here for a long time. I would come her as a child, 30 years ago. It's staying power is a testament to its consistent quality, as is the line to order. We waited about 20 minutes to order last time we were there, which gave me enough time to run to the ATM across the street to get cash, they don't accept anything else. I went with a glazed twist, and it was delicious. If you want donuts, this is a great spot to get them. They also make cookies and cake, but I haven't tried those. It is reachable by a path that follows the white river that originates at riverside park, so it makes a great stop along that walk that can take you all the way to downtown.
They have the best donuts hands down. They are fresh everyday. I’ve been going for decades and I’ve never been disappointed.

We were immediately greeted with a good morning and a smile by staff. The aroma of freshly baked goods smelled like a dozen of lit scented candles. It was very hard to choose what to pick. And the cost was way cheaper than any other donut shop I've been to recently. A must try for anyone in the area or traveling through, just be sure to have cash because they are CASH ONLY.

Heard about these famous donuts and obviously had to give it a try. I can definitely tell you they’re AMAZING. So simple yet delicious without the crazy $$$. They’re baked fresh daily and tend to get pretty busy so I’d recommend making the stop in the morning/ early afternoon.
If you're lucky enough to get these guys when they're hot and fresh they'll literally melt in your mouth. They dough is soft with a bit of chew to it, they're great. Cash only
