They were extremely busy. No tables available but room at the bar. Enjoyed the bartenders, the meal and especially the margaritas!
Livery has great decor, outdoor seating available, a solid drink selection with tasty Latin inspired cuisine. The spicy chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious! It was spicy with a crispy outside and tender juicy inside. I washed it down with a nice cold cider. Overall, Livery is definitely worth a visit for a pleasant meal if in the area.
Great food & Great service from Ambro
Visiting from CA for daughters volleyball tournament. Very accommodating for two large tables of ten. We were sat right away with our reservation. Clean and classy atmosphere. Great open patio seating. Delicious shrimp tacos. Service was awesome.
A charming space (a handsome, modernized carriage house) with a lively and welcoming vibe. Most importantly, this chef-driven menu was sensationally tasty. We had two small plates to start, guacamole and yuca fries with queso. DO NOT miss the yuca fries! I've always found queso a disappointing glop, but now I know the authentic prep is light and irresistible. One main course, the paella, but it was not the typical (boring) interpretation. Instead it was a grain topped with expertly grilled shrimp and a scallop--divine. We really liked that they encourage plate sharing and will serve plates divided if you want that. Nice youthful clientele (we are not youthful), many groups of after-work friends and couples. The staff was wonderful, the food inspired. Will return!
It was my sister and I first time! Marco was our waiter and he was amazing! He made the experience 10x better. He explained the menu in detail to help us decide what we wanted, I will definitely be coming back and hope to see Marco again. Thank you!
Livery was incredibly crowded when I went. The service was great considering how packed it was. The drinks were good, but not top tier. The empanadas were very good with unique flavors. I had the truffle corn ones, but will likely try something else on my next visit. The cauliflower I appetizer was really good. A great combination of sweet, crunchy, and a smokey flavor from the char. I normally am not a fan of califlower, and I really enjoyed this. The churro dessert was most with the right amount of sweet.
Definitely 5 stars. Everything was so good and flavorful. Amazing food and there want a bite I didn’t enjoy and can’t believe we ate every bite…of EVERY DISH!
One of my favorite places to visit in Indianapolis.Ambience - I would suggest to get a place on a patio upstairs or downstairs as it enhances your dining experience. Love the vibe at livery.Cocktails - I can’t seem to enjoy drinks over food but this place has really good cocktails, especially the carriage house margarita.Food - limited menu options to choose from but the food is delicious.1. Carnitas taquitos ? ???2. Guacamole ????3. Sweet plantains ???4. Paella ????4. Chicken Tinga Tacos ?????5. Mango Shrimp Tacos ????Service - our server was really helpful and the staff was kind enough to accommodate us as per our request to sit in the patio area even when it was quite busy at the restaurant.
My girlfriend and I went here for Dinner while visiting, and I can not express how much it exceeded expectations. The atmosphere, staff, and food were all top notch.Every dish we tried had a curated palate that flowed so well. Our server was informed and very pleasant. If you are visiting, please go here.
