Super good pupusas! And nice people they deserve more business.
a mixed bag. 1st visit loved the burritos and pupusas. the pasteles salvadorenos was delicious but a bit heavy. 2nd visit they halved the guacamole $2.25 for a tablespoon. $2.75 for 12 chips and runny salsa. taco and veg salad 2 thumbs up. chilli relleno bland. pollo a la crema chicken was dry and rubbery as if cooked days before. tamales were delicious. worth a try for the Salvadoran dishes, but heh Mexican dishes are hit or miss
The guacamole is soooo good... Fresh with a really good taste. My daughter and I always get the tacos and they are so good. Price is very reasonable. Have been here many times and will continue to eat here.
Hidden gem. Authentic cuisine at a very reasonable price. Did not get to try it, but has a very nice bar for those looking for a night cap.
I stayed in El Salvador for 3 months several years ago. I've tried pupusas from a few different restaurants here in the US and La Costa Azul definitely has the best ones. The restaurant was very clean, beautiful, service was wonderful. Will definitely have to get more pupusas here when I am back in Indy again.
Really enjoyed everything I got here. The pupusas were all good, and the crispy yuca and chicharron was delicious. Very friendly service.
Great atmosphere excellent food and service, dont mind the 30 minute drive
Food was good, although the meat (other than the chicken) was quite dry. Although we were the only people in there, so we assume the meat was made well ahead of time. Pupusas were great
If you like crispy tacos-this is a good place to order them. Great service. Food was good. I will definitely go back. I ordered a pretty basic meal but they definitely have some exciting options, i.e., tongue. Hope it does well because we need a good Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood!
This restaurant is located where the old Amalfi Italian used to be (86th and Ditch) we ordered guacamole, which my 7 year old devoured! I had the carne asada steak that came with rice, beans, salad and homemade tortillas! All for a great price. My husband had the Salvadoran steak which was cooked in a savory tomato sauce with peppers and onions as well as rice, beans, salad and those amazing tortillas. We also had cheese pupusas (similar to a quesadilla but so much better!) I highly recommend this place! They have a lot of Mexican dishes like burritos, tacos and quesadillas. The menus also shows that they offer breakfast. We can’t wait to go back soon!
