I almost done want to leave a review because then everyone will know how amazing this place is and it won't be as affordable as it is now. Lol The owners are amazing. The tacos are super authentic and amazing!! I've never had the type of hot sauces they offer, but they're flavorful without all the extra unnecessary spice. The tamales are even amazing. I've had weak sauce tamales with too much mas (filling on tamales), but these were flavorful! Priced right, tasted great, and great service. My favorite taco place hands down!
Quesadilla has a lovely crisp. Not to soft and not fried hard. Wonderful flavor to the asada and tender. Gordita is delicious too. Definitely planning a return trip.
Very authentic flavors here! One of the best I have found in town. This is a mom-and-pop/family operation, and everything I have had here has been fantastic! I have enjoyed the quesadillas, chimichangas, and (authentic!!) tacos. Queso is amazing. They also have street food that I cannot wait to try!! I love supporting authentic places like this! The value for the price is A++! So friendly and they care about what they do!
Hands down the best Mexican food experience anywhere around and it's not even close. Cant believe I hadnt discovered it sooner. The chorizo quesadilla blew my mind and the guacamole set the bar for how guacamole is supposed to be made. Not to mention the staff was the friendliest I've ever experienced and helped explain different items on the menu. If I could leave 10 stars I would.
La Charreria Taco House was soooo good. I tried their Carne Asada Gordita. They use homemade dough and it takes the Gordita to a whole new level. Also tried the guacamole and it was the best I think I've had anywhere. Super fresh tasting. And the chorizo con queso is also delicious, and was way more than we expected. We only ate about half and had some leftover to take home. Plus the service was been great. We were walked through different things to try for our first time here and the gentleman that helped us was super attentive. I'm already looking forward to my next trip!
Friendly people, great atmosphere, awesome food. You can really tell they put their heart into their business. Great little taco place. Will be back!
The people are so friendly that I would give this place 5 stars even if the food wasn't good. The food, however, is spectacular as well. The street food specialities (gorditas, huaraches, quesadillas) are very authentic! Please try any of those with the chicharron prensado, it's fantastic...you won't be disappointed. A great place to get Mexican food on the south side.
Absolutely love this place. Their tacos are amazing and they are extremely friendly. I go there regularly and never an issue. Definitely need to try it if you haven't.
Delicious food and the friendliest staff ever! My kids LOVE going to eat there and watching soccer on tv while they eat is a BONUS!
Very polite but slow service. The green sauce is very spicy and has bad flavor. The chicken enchiladas were made with turkey. This is not a joke. They put turkey in the enchilada instead of chicken. The chips and salsa were great though.
