Food is great. The tips for tender. But you really got to time it. Normally I'm in and out within 20 to 30 minutes cuz the line is so long. This time one person in front of me I was out in 10.
Since it was a holiday there was a long winding drive-up car line, but it was organized well and people were patient and courteous. My order was small but the rib tips were tender and the mild sauce was lip smackin' good. Go get you some!!!
The food is decent /edible. I'm from Dallas so you can only expect so much from a indy based bar b Que place. The place is black owned so expect rude customer service and nasty attitudes. Yes I'm black so it don't matter of your race they will still be rude and nasty. Cant wait to move back to Dallas. It gets 1 star because you can't have basic food and have horrible customer service pick a struggle.
The ribs would probably be better if you didn’t have to wait over an hour for them.Why don’t you all act like you care about your customer base and come up with a system that can have the customers in and out!!!!Like hiring a person for the walk up window and a different one for drive thru.Honestly the wait makes me NEVER want to come back !
I have been a customer for years but now I will not be buying as frequently. I always purchase the large tip with 1 hot & 1 mild sauce on the side with wheat bread. (1) the price has sky rocketed to $15 and the portions are still the same (not worth it) (2) I was so disappointed when I got home and opened the box and saw that I received mostly bones and hardly any meaty pieces like in the past (3) it was tender/a lot of crunchy pieces. This was truly a waste of $15.00.
Food that i had today was nasty. Ribs were tough,gritty, burnt, dry, and chewy. Sauce is good, mac and cheese was disgusting! Mac was salty in watery cheese, it was so nasty. Workers act like they don’t want to work. They must give you several day old meat! Don’t go here! Go to west 16th for tender ribs!
I called on a Sunday to place a pick up order for Wednesday. On Wednesday I called the store to confirm my order was ready and they had my order wrong. I was told it would take 30 minutes to fix the mistake and so I waited. When I arrived at the location my food still wasn't ready and it took an additional 40 minutes to complete the order. I advise if you can find another company to provide catering please do so. I was providing this meal for an organization and I was so late getting the food to the establishment they only had an hour to eat.
The line if cars wasa 9 unbelievable. 45 min wait to order. It was worth it. Ribs so tender meet just falls of the bone. The meat melted in my mouth. Had the sweet and tangy sauce really good I look Forward To Returning and trying the hot BBQ sauce
Today is March 25th I've been in the line for 45 minutes the girl at the window does not know what the heck she's doing!
Picked up large rib tips, large Mac and cheese and large potato salad. Ran me about 26 bucks and worth every penny. That sauce on the tips is amazing. Tangy, sweet, little bit of kick on the mild sauce. Meat is tender and fresh. Mac and cheese, super creamy and buttery. The potato salad is made fresh, and the portions sizes, I could easily feed three people with what I got.
