One of my Favorite go to. Haven't been in a few years... AMAZING STILL. The pita bread was fresh. All 3 Gyro meals were fresh and warm. Perfect! Love the new paint job on the out the outside of the building. "Indy's famous Gyro" ?Quick service, friendly staff, smiling faces.Will be bringing friends and family from across the country.Definitely a staple of Indianapolis.
We roll through here weekly for dinner. Cheap and delicious! Gyro is great, chicken over rice is a favorite, but the cheeseburger is definitely one of the best I’ve had. They have never gotten my order wrong, and it’s a quick drive thru!
The food here is outstanding and the quantity is real good.
The food is always good here. I have the chicken/combo over rice. Enough for two meals or more per person. Their fish combo is good. They have sausage sandwiches which set them apart from other drive thru places. The drive thru personnel usually give friendly service. It is a great place to go for a change of pace. They also offer GrubHub delivery which I have never used.
Pros: Gyro meat & tzatziki were awesome! I appreciated having feta as gyro joins near my home don't offer feta with a platter which perplexes me. Fries were pretty good, could've used a bit more salt. Onions fresh, pita good, soda was well mixed and refreshing.Cons: Dirty restraunt. Tables sticky, trash full, floors slippery, stuff running down walls. I made the awful mistake of using the restroom to wash my hands before we ate. The bathroom was repulsive! Smelled like nasty sewage, scummy. Completely lost my appetite. As for the food my only complaint is that I feel the platter could've came with an additional pita & a few black olives for the cost.Take away: The search for an awesome gyro place continues for me. While the good want too bad, it wasn't good enough to get me to return to the gross restraunt. This place is 40mins from home for me.
I have been to multiple King Gyro locations, and this has been by far the best I've ever eaten at. The building may be a bit run down, but what they lack in visual appeal they make up for with world class food. This was the best gyro I have every had and I highly recommend it to anyone

They best Gyro meat, some of my party doesn’t consider themselves gyro meat consumers; ordered the Sausage which was very much liked.Not a fan of cole slaw myself but others who like raved about it.The old arcade game (Q-Bert I think) was no longer there which meant I didn’t have to see CRD’s reigning top score I could never beat.;-D
Usually love this place. They have a big variety of things to order. This time I ordered a polish sausage with grilled onions and peppers, it was not good. The sausage was cold, not even warm and the bun was soaked with pickle juice or something vinegary.
Extremely delicious and cheap! A great value, the best gyros ever! Plus the big baby burger is to die for.
