Great spot! Very kind and attentive staff with tasty sushi. Would 100% recommend, the owner brought me my card outside in the rain after i forgot it which was really nice
This place used to be so good. We celebrated so many life events here. However it has become dingy, sticky, and unfriendly. They “misplaced” our reservation two times. Last time they asked us to wait 5-10 minutes. After 10, they asked us to wait 5-10 more minutes. We walked out. Too bad.
FEB 05 It was my 10 year old daughter Birthday and she wanted the family to have dinner at Kazan Japanese Steakhouse. So we meet up at the restaurant. The cooks were AWESOME with impressing the crowd with their fire tricks with the food. BUT THE SERVER WAS VERY VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. She'd forget silverware/soups/drinks and then catch an attitude with the guest like it's our fault. She would never say "you're welcome" after we politely thanked her several times. She made our experience there extremely unsatisfying. I don't want to say it was racism but I can't think of anything else! EVEN THO THEY ADD 20% TO EACH SEPARATE BILLS WE ALL STILL TIPPED HER GREAT because we understand the serving business.
Service was amazing food was to die for, server was absolutely the best I have had in a very long time. The entire staff was lively and engaging! The atmosphere was fabulous, I'd recommend this place to anyone great for a date night!
Love it here food is delicious and plentiful. It's very entertaining for kiddos.
We drove 30 minutes because the hibachi restaurants closer to us were all booked for the night. As soon as I walked in I was put off. The restaurant needs some major updating. Even the print on the plates was worn off. The food was good, but the biggest disappointment was that the chef didn’t do more of a performance. Isn’t that the whole point of cooking in front of the customer??
Waitress up front wasn’t doing her job and had and attitude. We had a 6pm reservation and other people had reservations but got there before us. But she would sit people that had same time reservation but got later than us. I have never had service like that in all the time I’ve gone here. she also was acting like she didn’t know what she was doing .
The food is always good but bad service can ruin a good party. All it takes is a change in the tone and delivery of words. Both waitresses rushed our party to order and just came across rude and uninterested in being there. This could be one of the best hibachi restaurants in the city, but the service will always hold it back.
I was extremely disappointed with the sashimi dinner last night. I ordered $77 of food fir my family which they enjoyed. I ordered tuna and salmon sashimi and the portion was extremely small and not what I'm use to. The sashimi was served in cubes with I piece of ginger. I requested lots of ginger believing my sashimi portions (6 pieces), would be satisfying.I am shocked at the quality, portion, and price($15). I have never seen portions that were cubed like diced potatoes.Hopefully, other customers will get better service. My order was to go.I pray that this was the exception and not the rule for sashimi. I have eaten in the restaurant and the food and service was great!
