I came for the oxtail dinner as I always do So I feel im safe to say I was completely disappointed with the portion size this time. The meal totaled over $18 after tax and the picture included is what I received. At best this was a sample size comparative to what I usually receive. Usually I'm full with leftovers. This time I had to make a sandwich????
I chose this restaurant for a group experience and the live music. There were 6 in my group. There wasn’t a wait staff you went to th counter to order your meal and drink pay for meal then go to another counter to place your drink order. 3 of my party received their meals and drinks immediately. After a 10 minute wait the other 3 had received nothing when an inquiry was made was told it was on the way. Another 10 minutes and another inquiry was told it was on the way. In the meantime counter staff standing around. After another ten minutes goes by another inquiry made the counter staff informed us that they were out of the Sunday special, which 2 meals were ordered. 30 minutes time and no one came to our table to inform the waiting diners that piece of information. I was thoroughly beside myself. I was not a happy camper. I will not be recommending this location in the future.
The food is edible, portion .vs. cost this was $13. Personally I have had better. As far as the cabbage why even mention that it comes with it. It comes with enough for you to try it and decide if you would like to purchase some separately. (As for the flavor of it today I would say no.
Okay I really think this could be the best restaurant in Indy. The food in incredible. I’ve had the curry shrimp and the jerk shrimp. It’s worth every dollar. The flavor is amazing.The atmosphere is super laid back and chill and everyone is super nice. Absolutely love this place and I look forward to it every time I eat here.
I’ve searched for 4 years for a great Red Snapper fish, and Jamaican Breeze truly delivered. I also had the Jerk Pot Roast which is served on Sundays and it was delicious. The customer service was amazing as well.Keep up the great work I’ll be back soon
So good... It was so hard to decide what to get... I decided to go with the featured special the jerk pot roast.. it melts in your mouth with so much flavor.. also tried the jerk chicken quarter with the hot sause... Yummm I can't wait to come back and try more.
Got there at 9:25pm Friday. On the door it says closed at 10 and also online it says close at 10.. long story short the owner dismissed me to leave, and then turned around and invited me in 5 mins later, she offered me meals that they did not have. They literally gave me anything they wanted me to have and nothing that i asked for, also there were left out items too.. i would of spent my money somewhere else if i knew what i was getting was not what i ordered … honestly i feel robbed!!
The food is legit and the place is very clean. We enjoy going here. The staff is nice, not the most welcoming, but kind. Overall if you want some good Jamaican food this might be the best in Indy!
We had the 2- Ox Tails Dinner and the rice was not pleasing. There was only 4 small bones in each plate. For a $30+ meal, I would have loved more gravy. The meat was tender, added my own pepper sauce.
