Went on Mother’s Day got sat right away but just sat at a normal table.Hibachi was decent no complaint, didn’t get to experience the traditional chef but quality was still good.Gyoza were great.The staff was friendly but you could tell the waitress was a little overwhelmed with waiting 6 tables at a time.The restaurant was clean but dated. Seats with tears, water and stain damage to baseboard. Carpet looked halfway decent. Way cleaner than Benihana’s and better staff.
The food was great and the chef was awesome and funny. Good portions as well. 4 stars only because I had to wait quite a while before I got my chicken and shrimp (it was very last) and had to wait for a long time with just rice on my plate. I do like to have the rice mixed with the meat because if I eat all the rice right away I'll never be able to finish the rest of the entree. The ginger salad dressing is as good as everyone says in their reviews. I could drink it! The Japanese lemonade was 10/10
The food is always great. Sometimes we get a funny & entertaining chef and sometimes we don't. We didn't this time. It's irritating when we spend over a hundred for our family to celebrate and the entertainment isn't consistent. Also disappointed that the lunch menu is no longer available over the weekend. It was a treat to go last minute over a weekend anytime. Now we will need to find a new go-to restaurant.
Yea nah never again. The worst service ever. Scallops and shrimp definitely not worth $29. Portion was extremely small like it was for kids. There were 20min gaps in between someone coming to see if we needed drinks. Once we got them we had drank them before the soup came out another 20min for the salad to come out, then 20min before the cook came out, plates were dirty, and communication was all around horrible. I hope you guys aren't picking up the business that SAPPORO had you definitely don't deserve it! I miss that REAL HIBACHI RESTAURANT and service. The waitress didn't even deserve a tip. Workers standing around staring at us. Horrible
I stopped in for lunch while unloading some baby gear at the OUAC next door. The service was a little slow, so I had an appetizer dining in and ordered the rest of my meal as take out.The food was very good. I lo Ed their vegetable tempura and it was among the nest that I have had. The sushi tasted fresh and was well packaged. The prices were reasonable. I will return for a full dine in experience when I have more time to do so.
Wonderful new experience. Took my daughter for her 10th bday and the service was wonderful, quick, fun and tasty so goooood. We will return in the future
Have come to this place since it opened over 15 years ago. Always been great food and service for a good value. Tonight, brought the family in for dinner and was seated right away. After a couple minutes, another group of people was seated at our table that clearly had been partying in the parking lot with Mary Jane. It was overpowering and all of my family was clearly noticing it as they all looked at me and gave me that look. Yes, we have all been there and smelled the smell I'm talking about, but the last thing I wanted to do was sit and eat for the next hour while getting high from the contact buz.even with exhaust hood fan on we were all feeling it. I left the table and went to the bar to speak with the manager about moving to another table and he asked 20 questions about why I had to move and who the people were. Instead of moving us, he started pointing at the group of people and making a scene.. I Decided at that point it was a lost causes to try moving my family and proceeded to motion them all to join me as we left the restaurant for the last time. I guess this is the new normal in some places, but I will only patronize establishments that have some sort of conduct in place. Unfortunately I don't think this one does anymore.

LOVE THIS PLACE! My fiances best friend introduced us to this place a year ago and we have not stopped coming back! Birthdays, anniversary's, valentines day, basically any time we can get the excuse to come, we do. We always get the Filet Mignon & Chicken and it is to die for! You won't regret coming here!
