We had a very enjoyable meal here the night before the Indy 500. The fried chicken was excellent. Some of the best I’ve had. The steak was not to our liking, but when we sent it back, they let us order the fried chicken instead. The onion soup was very good, as were the vegetables and mashed potatoes and gravy. Loved the ice cream sundae at the end. I had plenty of leftover chicken to take to the track the next day, which I enjoyed very much.

This family owned restaurant looks classy and the ambiance is amazing. Home cooked meals are delicious and tasty. Staffs are friendly.
Food was okay it was hard to enjoy our meal with what I'm assuming was the hostess constantly staring at us while we ate and rolling her eyes while my son was telling us a story about his music class. She was very rude when she actually spoke with us. The rest of the staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Lovely place we have been going on birthdays and anniversary for years. Food is fantastic, high quality home style food you simply cannot find any more. It is like great grandmas Sunday supper. Their onion soup is hands down the best and we look forward to it all year. Staff is always very pleasant and the owner comes by to check and make sure everyone is satisfied every time. We recommend to anyone and everyone who asks us about good quality food.
Excellent meal, as usual. This was our annual Christmas trip to the Iron Skillet and they did not disappoint. Friendly staff, wonderful service, and a delicious meal at a fair price. Highly recommended.

Great place to go with friends. You pick your meat and share all the fixings. Food is great!
Nice friendly service and good home cooked meals. Also good wine and spirits. Dessert was just right amount after stuffing yourself with food.
